Thank you for being understanding about women who cut their own hair at home. I used your technique for back layers when my hair was in a bob. Now with the short pixie, it's more challenging to cut layers in the back but I keep trying. I can't use this technique so I try to make do with doing things to make the back halfway decent so I can go out in public. It's been trial and error. If it doesn't look okay I try to make it better. My hair is super thin & fine and I am elderly. The day will probably come when I can't cut it myself. I figure if I keep it really short I can deal with it right now.

Is there a difference between starting at the back top as a guide or from the very front cutting horizontally or vertically to the back and sides? That's my biggest question
