Thanks to "phooesnax" and "atractorkid7" for catching the incorrectly installed drive shaft vibration pad. This time we install a new armature in our Cub's Delco-Remy starter generator in a an attempt to find out why it turns over so slowly.

Hi Saturn, I redone several early wide frame Cubs using your idea on the axle pivot using the bolt & nut to pinch the channel back together and it works well, but, I put the bolt head in the front and run the bolt back through to the rear. Also you have to saw half the thickness of the bolt head off to allow room for the mule drive to snap into the Quick Attach and lock in place. While your at it you might as well cut off half the nut thickness right through the bolt for added oil pan room. Hate to see the engine come back out again but it would make another nice video!!!

Oh no!! Haha, thanks William. I wonder if I can just trim the nut down and leave it in front. I know exactly what you're talking about with the QA mechanism. Having the bolt head near the oil pan seems to be giving plenty of clearance at the moment. Will do a segment on this next video and get it fixed. Really appreciate your comments.

Yeah, ol' Orange and White is just sittin over in the corner waiting for some attention. I've had enough issues pile up on it that I need to do an update video to get some ideas from all you tractor experts.

Time flies for sure. One big motivation for me is to get the fender pan and hood up off my garage floor and back on the tractor so I can reclaim some space out there! ;] Doing these vids does slow you down a little, but I sure do benefit from the encouragement from our tractor community.
