Hi Mike, I'm troubleshooting a Sole F63. I've unplugged the cord from the LCB going up the console and checked for voltage on all pins in reference to ground and got zero on all pins. I know there is good voltage going to the board and I do have one green LED. Should I go ahead and replace the board ? Thanks

Hi Mike. Do you have a replacement lcb, model T-335HR, Trimline
@jaym482 жыл бұрын
Do you get a LS1 error when it does not start? Are you saying you found the Root Cause being the Capacitor; however, the Control Board is not able to have replacement parts so an entire board is required? Here is my current issue. Any feedback would be very appreciated: I have the F63 (SN 56381415....). It counts down from 3, 2, 1 and then the display says 0.5 mph but the motor/belt is NOT moving. 5 seconds later the console reads LS1 error. ALL Console controls (fan/incline) work/display before the LS1 error appears. The Control console can also alter the speed display but does not do anything to the motor. I disconnected the motor from the Control Board and used a 9V battery as a source of power for the motor to determine if the motor is bad. The motor runs. I then validated that the incline Up / Down lights on the board work as the unit is calling for an Incline command. I then found the PWM light and observed it when I pressed the Start button. The PWM light turns ON but then turns OFF about 5 seconds AFTER the 3 second countdown hits Zero. I attached my Multimeter to read voltage off the Control Board, after I disconnected the Red/Black motor wires for the Battery Test and did NOT read any D.C voltage when Powered On, during the Start/3 Second Countdown, or up to the LS1 error. I do not hear any "clicking" during /directly after the 3 second count down and not sure if there was a Relay that should do that or not? Note: I noticed a green LED light all the time above the motor connection on the board. It appears to read Motor DRV. There is another LED light, not on, next to it that reads "Shut Down". Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Mike, thanks for the video. My Nordiktrack treadmill starts and belt moves for a few seconds then stops. Incline motor and display screen work fine. Tried this suggestion and unfortunately no luck. Any ideas? Thanks I would appreciate it

Look up Treadmill Doctor's website. I think it is your lower control board. They will confirm it for you.

Thanks for the video Mike, I used a hair dryer to heat up the capacitor and it worked 😊 but have you figured it out the reason for this?

I have not. The boards are throwaway, so I just bought a new one.

@@WhatIsMikeMakingNow there are a couple repair shops you can send them to, sometimes saves a bit over new. sometimes they upgrade components too and it's better than new.

I have a NordicTrack Commercial 1750 about ten years old. Yesterday, she pooped out on me. No power at all. Checked the outlet, popped the canopy, and the LED on the controller board does not come on. Is that a sign that it’s time for a new control board?

Would you recommend trying anything else besides this? This procedure produced the exact same results you show in your video. I assume that means the control motor board is bad. But would you suggest continuing to try other sensors or wires?
@albertlatscha3 ай бұрын
The board is toast , you just have to replace the board

I have a nordictrack T6.5s almost identical to the machine your working on in the video. I was hoping you could help me or shine some light on my issue. I moved my treadmill, plugged it in and nothing at all--wont turn on. I took the hood cover off the bottom and I see a red LED and a green LED lit up but the top control panel will not display or light up, any help is appreciated

What would cause the red motor wire to burn itself off of the control board where it attaches?
@luigicirelli25832 жыл бұрын
the transistor might be faulty, like shorted, so won't act as per instructions from the PWM and pass unrestrained all available current to the motor, effectively overloading the connector, wires, traces; take the transistor off the board, follow a test procedure accordingly to model, replace it with a matching model.

Could it be a bad capacitor if it always runs, but the speed slows down intermittently?
@seadude4869 Жыл бұрын
No, that's something else. The cap is there just to start the motor, it does help the motor runs.

You can't just replace the capacitor on the board??
