I have a Sole F63 treadmill that was"donated" to my wife when my neighbor moved across the state. It worked great for her for a long time. One day she got the LS1 Low Speed error. I tried to diagnose the problem using the manual with no luck. I finally turned to "You Tube" and Dave's self help videos. I contacted him and got a very helpful response, something that seems to be unusual these days. He offered advice and stayed with me until the problem was resolved. I ended up replacing the control board and belt. Months later the display panel would not turn on. I went back to Dave's videos and again, he spent the time with me to determine the display board was bad. The treadmill is now working fine and I cannot express my gratitude enough for the assistance I received from Dave to make my wife happy that she can continue to use her treadmill. I don't see any stars on the site to express my appreciation, but if there were I would give Fitness Technology a 5 star rating.

Excellent video! I was getting the LS1 Low Speed Error and this video helped me confirm that my motor control board needed to be replaced. I contacted Dave via email to confirm the diagnosis and he suggested one other test to make sure it wasn't the console. I also followed the guidance in other videos to check for walking belt wear. Sure enough, not only did my controller need to be replaced but so did my walking belt and my deck. Fitness Technology Services helped me get all the parts ordered, assisted with the warranty replacement of the deck and answered all my questions. The videos on how to replace all these parts were incredibly helpful. My Sole F85 treadmill is now back in service. Thanks!

Great video and thanks for your generosity! I have a 2010 F85 that works like a tank and I put all 7000 miles on it ever since I've had it and I don't want to replace it! I usually keep it lubed and cover it to prevent dust accumulation however, just recently the jumper on the back of the Treadmill started tripping in the middle of my workouts. I took a picture with the thermal camera and noticed that the middle the belt is hotter than the sides and the motor control board has very hot components. I also tried to contact TransformCo since they are responsible for the Lifetime warranty but they never replied! Any ideas? Cheers!

Hi Dave, I've been watching your videos and I really appreciate all the tips. I've been having issues with my Sole F80 and e7 errors that I can't seem to get their tech help to figure out. They've sent me a "new" control board, and most recently a whole new upper unit because they suspected the e7 error was "burned into the software". No change. Can't even get it to calibrate at all, e7 pops up immediately just like when trying to start up the belt for a workout. Any thoughts?

I stumbled on this through your website looking at control boards for a Sole F80. I'm pretty sure I wore the control board out because of improper belt maintenance or neglecting to keep it lubed. What happened is I walked at 4mph and after a few minutes the belt would suddenly stop (not slow down) and beep and LS1 error. Thank goodness I wasn't running. I could also smell some electrical in the controller board area. Sole said it was the controller board. Does that sound correct? If so, I'll be ordering one from your site as well as a new belt.

Hello, thank you so much for your video! Although I'm still stumped. I have a 2013 Sole F80 and it flipped the breaker after about 5 minutes of light use. After repeat attempts to troubleshoot it now flips the breaker immediately upon hitting the power switch. I admit I've never bought a new belt or lubricated anything. I am just now learning this is typical maintenance that I should have kept up with. Any suggestions?

When you press the keypad, is there a way to lower the volume, or turn off the “BEEP!” sound? Thanks

Hello Sir thank you for the very informative video I’m very glad I found this channel. I have a sole F63 treadmill while running the screen completely blanked out and the treadmill stopped. I have troubleshot a little bit the 15 amp breaker Is not tripped and I have power going to the board The green LED is not lit. Does this mean I have a bad board? If so where would you suggest I get another? Thank you!

Hi. Good Afternoon from the Virgin Islands. Pointer is good. I posted on your treadmill cover removal video that I saw a red light on the Nordictrack control board. It seems to blink the same as your engaged treadmill green light in this video light but it looks more like a warning light in the middle of a cluster of diodes. Wish I could take a photo and show you. Anyway, much help. Subscribed.

Hi Dave. Thanks very much for your prompt response to my previous request. You had indicated that the issue with the treadmill going to full speed on startup would most likely be related to a bad controller. Could you please suggest which component on the controller would need testing and if faulty replaced.

do you have any advice on actual repairing an incline motor? I have a Pacemaster Platinum Pro VR 120v treadmill with a noisy incline motor. I took it apart to lube it... but on reassembly, the potentiometer that senses screw position is not working properly. Is there a reliable way to fix this (other than trying to buy a new one from the US - I'm in Canada). I tried to reinstall it in the neutral position (jacked up the end of the bed to a zero degree incline and adjusted the screw to that position but the system only works for a while, then sticks at the extreme position and gives an incline error. resetting the machine takes care of it, at least initially. Is there a reliable way to set this up so that the potentiometer is within limits?

Great video. My control board works , I have the click sound but my motor doesn't turn on. At one point if I left the power on for 10 minutes before starting the treadmill it would start. Could I have a bad transformer? I also tested my motor with connection of the pos and neg and it was way stiffer. So my motor is good I believe

Hey Dave, i have a sole f63 treadmill with the ls1 fault. Looking at my lower control board the led for the speed sensor isn't flashing at all but the treadmill runs slower then faster then slower etc etc (hunting) then eventually ls1 faults. Should I start with replacing the speed sensor?

Hi Dave, I'm troubleshooting an F63 for my daughter. I have 120 volts on the power board and also one green LED. Nothing on the display tho sadly. Have checked continuity up to the display and its good. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Mark

I replaced the board on my F63 (burnt-out diode) now the breaker pops when I turn it on. What I've found is that disconnecting the main wire harness from the board will stop the breaker from popping BUT then the transformer started smoking/burning in a few seconds. So I'm not sure if this a bad transformer, a dead short in the control panel, or both.

Great vdo. My treadmill shows LS1 low speed error. Unfortunately the 2 LEDs that you said should not come on, mine is the top one is on. So I need to change the control board, right?
