Quick fact: Lakad Matatag meaning Walk Strongly in English is often used by military officers during military drill and command and also during marches. If you notice the tone of Lon's voice when he shouts "LAKAD MATATAAAAG!" it sounds like a military platoon leader giving the command to walk strongly during marches. For those who are still curious, LAKAD MAMATAG also was a reference to dota1 bkb where when you used it there is a voice shouting and you cannot clearly hear what it said, then people started saying LAKAD MATATAG as a pun to it, because LAKAD MATATAG means walk strongly and the effect of the bkb makes you spell immune where you can just walk inside enemy spell without worrying of dying, so in the creative filipino minds its the best pun for it and also when they shout it notice that they timed it when they pop the bkb.ECOSLAMAJAMA may be a reference for basket ball, filipino people are massive fan of basketball and slamajama is a typical slang for dunking, EASIEST MONEY OF MY LIFE was basically referred to those people who bet to the side of fnatic at that time, because of the betting ratio between them is higher on the side for secret and lower for fanatic so those who won will basically get double or even triple on what they bet.

Hope he included what it meant. Or did I miss it. "Lakad Matatag!" literally means "March strong!" and to be in context of like a medieval army on foot initially engaging an attack. But when it was used by the caster, it meant surviving and "chill-walking" away strong after being heavily bombarded.

You based in the Philippines? May or may not affect internet connection, I'm not really sure. Honestly, it doesn't really matter what platform you buy _too much_ since Tekken plays roughly the same throughout. But generally speaking: PC runs slightly smoother in terms of servers and system structure, but know that the tournament standard is PS4. Also, I'd buy ultimate edition if you can, meaning you have and can lab all available characters from the get go. Buuuuuut your discretion. Base game is perfectly playable on its own haha

@Nmitri Mendel Buy PC if you have a good setup. Just make sure that you have good internet connection as the other guy said. Doesn't need to be very fast but definitely need to have better connections to near countries like SG, HK, JP, etc. You'll be playing against those guys often. Tekken uses a P2P connection model so you need to have decent ping with respect to the other player. Although I must say that the netcode has become so much better compared to T6 and TTT2 days. Decent connection (3 bars) comes a long way.

Might be for the best since console is much less expensive than having 20+ PHP swipes per game. But I guess that's the beauty of the arcade scene. Pushes you to the limit since it's very expensive. I'm just an average joe and would like to try and play or at least watch AK and Doujin in action.

The original dota in warcraft3 uses the sound effect of the mountain king shouting "FOR KHAZ MODAN!" when activating the avatar ability from black king bar. LAKAD MATATAG is spoken the way the mountain king would have if he spoke in filipino and it doubles as a pun since MATATAG means STABLE or STURDY in english and the avatar ability's magic immunity makes your hero sturdy,. You can walk (LAKAD) in and out of battle while shrugging off any skills because the avatar buff makes you sturdy (MATATAG).

As a Filipino myself this is absolutely hilarious. Especially the "Sir Chief" line. Since that is a reference to a popular TV series a few years ago called Be Careful With My Heart where the main heroine calls the main love interest Sir Chief. And "Chamba" means lucky in Filipino as well I might also add the "wag kayo maiinis, mahal ang patis" before fnatic won literally means "don't be mad, patis is expensive." patis being a type of vinegar dipping, and as you know vinegar is sour so the equivalent to what they're saying in English is "don't be a sourpuss." And Oy literally means Hey in English

The explanation why he said the it was his easiest money of his life is because some DOTA games here in the Philippines are being used for betting along with your friends. Sometimes it goes all the way high and he mentioned "10k taya ko times 3, 30k pa. easiest money of my life" (I bet 10k and it was 3 times the bet so its 30k, easiest money of my life) because it was a Fnatic Victory where I suppose where he bet his money to.
