(4:02) Essentially, Tony is saying that it's more important to focus on your internal state than on external achievements. If you can learn to feel good regardless of your circumstances, you'll be much more likely to live a fulfilling life.

Happiness is not about what you achieve, but about how you feel. (0:39) Your feelings are controlled by what you focus on and how you move your body. (4:27) Success without fulfillment is the ultimate failure. (5:11) You should celebrate your successes and train your nervous system to feel good. (6:41) It's important to develop the habit of feeling good for no reason. (6:55) Being in a good state makes you a better person and helps you perform at a higher level. (7:33) It's stupid to allow yourself to stay in a lousy state.🎉

Tony Robbins emphasizes that celebrating success is crucial because it trains your brain to associate positive emotions with achievement. (6:02) It reinforces positive feelings: When you celebrate, you're telling your brain that success is worth feeling good about. This makes you more likely to repeat behaviors that lead to success. It prevents burnout: If you dont celebrate, you might feel like you're constantly chasing the next goal without ever enjoying the fruits of your labor. This can lead to exhaustion and a lack of motivation. (6:35) It sets a positive example: When you celebrate, you show others that it's okay to be happy and to acknowledge your accomplishments. This can inspire others to do the same. (5:35)

Tony Robbins emphasizes that body movement has a powerful impact on emotions. (4:27) Your body language influences your biochemistry: The way you move, your facial expressions, and even your voice tone all affect the chemicals released in your brain. (4:34) Changing your movement can change your feelings: If you're feeling down, try smiling, standing up straight, and taking a few deep breaths. These actions can actually trigger a shift in your emotional state. (4:49) Your body can override your mind: Even if you're thinking negative thoughts, you can still choose to move your body in a way that promotes positive emotions.

Absolutely! It's all within our power, and we better start training ourselves, life goes so quickly...I say..find a reason to celebrate everyday, if U look for it U l find the reasons for it! Gratitude is so powerful! Love is all we need, everything else comes naturally once we feel love and connection to the most important people in our life... But to keep that excitement & passion we need to work on it, it's not given... feels more like a reward for constantly trying to understand each other better and lift one another.. I think that's the whole point of life 🤷

(5:10) Success is often temporary: Even if you win the lottery or achieve a major goal, your brain will eventually adjust to your new reality, and you'll return to your baseline level of happiness. (3:13) Fulfillment comes from within: True happiness comes from who you become, not what you achieve. (3:37) It's a waste of time: If you're not enjoying the journey, what's the point of reaching the destination?

5:50 I know this isn't the answer that you want but yes, it makes things better for me if others tone down their enthusiasm if I'm not happy. It certainly doesn't make me feel worse and yes if I'm feeling bad and someone is in my face all "rah rah my life is FABULOUS," that gets on my effing nerves.
@MichaelSpiller-d6m4 ай бұрын
Tony Robbins argues that our culture has a negative impact on our ability to celebrate and feel truly alive. (7:24) We're taught to downplay our happiness: We often tone down our excitement around others, fearing we'll make them feel bad. This teaches our brains that it's not okay to be too happy. (5:43) We focus on external achievements: Our culture often emphasizes success in terms of money, status, and possessions, leading us to believe that happiness comes from achieving these things. (0:09) We're conditioned to be unhappy: Were constantly bombarded with negative news and messages, which can make it difficult to maintain a positive outlook. (7:24)

My Father in law became a quadriplegic 16 days after our wedding. He learned how to find purpose and meaning serving God, praying for others and signing hymns to those who were dying in his care home. He lost seemingly everything, but there are people today who know the love of Jesus because of him being paralyzed for 25 years. He was promoted to glory a few months ago and leaves a legacy of faithfulness to God NO MATTER WHAT. He became a better man through unimaginable suffering. 👆🙏🏻🙌 God bless you reading this, may your life be filled with devotion and purpose in Christ. 🙏🏻

3:23 I would think this would be the greatest argument for forcing people to take the 30 year annuity instead of the lump sum. Many of these people will have more money than they'd know what to do with, which leads to a lot of bad decisions. Forcing them to take that 30 year annuity gives them a year or two to get that out of their system, and then they have another 28-29 years to actually be enriched by the winnings.
