I’ve been a BL fan for about two years and the Build fiasco was my first real time scandal and I was like naaaaa. This man needs therapy and an attitude check. Who would want to work with him again? He unfortunately let the dark side show. Ps also calling Bible and Jackson ugly is WILD! Oh my days I’m back to talk about Mew. As a PR person, his Twitter rant was such a bad idea. I’m sure it came from frustration but it wasn’t elegant. Also MewGulf fan service was so very extreme even non deluded fans thought they were dating. Does Thai tv industry have PR companies because a lot of these scandals could be avoided. Also I can’t wait for fan service to just vanish. It’s so toxic.

Build and Mew are the two actors who I will never watch again. It's easy enough to separate an actor from his roles, but these two have crossed a line. And I agree, who would call Jackson ugly, let alone Bible?

If an actor is straight and can play a gay actor that is one thing. They are stretching their abilities. But when they are obviously homophobic and violent towards fellow gay actors, that is unacceptable and they should be held responsible.

Yes, I totally agree! I mean I have nothing against gay actors playing gay characters. That's completely fine. But I don't get why some people think you ALWAYS need to have a gay actor play a gay character because people who are NOT gay can't play gay characters bc they can't represent them well because they are not gay in real life. It's like I don't agree with that. The definition of acting is BEING SOMEONE YOU ARE NOT. Therefore, a straight actor should be able to play a gay character. A gay actor should be able to play a straight character. You do not need to BE what your character is in real life. That is why it is called acting. Also, you never know too what a person's sexuality is if they don't actually come out and officially state this. An actor that you think is straight who is playing a gay character could be yelled at by fans saying they want a gay actor to play a gay character and that said actor can't do that bc he's not gay. But then later on that same actor could come out and confirm he actually IS gay. So unless the actor has officially stated they are straight, please don't assume they are straight or anything else. I know a lot of people are like don't assume this person is gay, trans etc... but then they go and assume this or that person is straight. I'm like that's not fair, you shouldn't assume someone is straight either if they haven't said so. Also note I am not saying these things to anyone in particular but just as a general comment.

Actor's should not get hate for who they date their personal romantic lives have nothing to do with the fans and toxic Stans need to accept that. I feel bad for the series that such actors take part in though because everyone else did so much hard work for the series and just because of one people might boycott the series or try and drag it down. Which in turn messes it up for everyone else who was innocent in the series. I mean seriously, the actor who did the bad things should pay for what he did but it sucks that the innocent people involved in the series also pay the price. We should have something where we punish the actors that did or said bad things but also ensure that the innocent parties involved (such as the other actors in the series who did nothing wrong) don't also pay the price. I mean what if the actor that did bad things was the main star but there is a co-star who is also a main star and it's their first time being the main star. But because of what the other actor did the series flops and the other actor's first main role fails and they end up getting depression and do something drastic as a result? Who is to blame for that? Essentially the fans are to blame because they are the ones who are unintentionally punishing innocent people because they're just so upset over the actor that did a bad thing. It just sucks that the only way fans seem to have to hurt the actor that did bad things is to not support the series. But that in turn hurts innocent actors in the same series as well. I'm just sad about this. I feel bad for the other actors who have to suffer bc they are in the same series as the one in question.

Actually Art's career is pretty good, he was depressed in 2020 to 2021 and that's why he wasn't in so many series but now he is doing okay and he started as main actor in Till the World Ends and also he is gonna be in Fourever You Project and Star Scoup in 2024 :)

Some Build fans are so bizarre to me. Instead of just enjoying his content and moving on they continue to try and sabotage the actors he used to work with. Some of the most unhinged Build fans are still religiously on BOC comment sections whenever Bible appears screaming into the void about how he was wronged. 🤦🏾‍♀️ I’m so glad that BOC switched Bible’s role in 4 minutes, which seemed to help prevent comparisons between his new and old partner. They also picked a mature experienced actor who could handle the messy fans, and didn’t throw one of the new baby actors to the wolves. Bible was a victim in this. Build was messy with his personal and professional life. Poi was clearly an unhinged and messy person and he still got tangled up with her. Contrary to the innocent character he portrays on film and his youthful looking doe eyes he is a grown experienced man. He knew what she was and he decided to take the gamble the perks were worth trying to manage her crazy.

I think I will stand up for Pond Naravit and for TayNew and OffGun... Honestly, I'll be real, a lot of this makes it hard for me sometimes, to want to watch BLs from a lot of companies. Making an offensive joke I can at least understand that it might not be thought through and not meant. The ones that get me though are bullying, homophobia and racism. There are a lot of actors in BLs that I cannot look at the same way anymore so I avoid their series. Especially the actors that are openly straight and caught being homophobic, it's like finding out a White person I know in passing or supported was openly racist and they said they're sorry, now it's always going to be in the back of my mind that they could look down on me and have evil intentions towards me and they just won't say it because they don't want backlash. It's not a good feeling to watch series that showcase gay people and should be like a safe zone for them watching it, when in the back of their heads, the cast and crew could fully be leeching off them and treating gay people horribly IRL. It's sad to me.

Bottom line is creating these parasocial relationships is dangerous. Even if the majority of BL fans understand that it’s just work for these actors, the loudest are always gonna be the ones who don’t understand this or don’t care to understand this. So, I think BL actors should just stop the fan service altogether. I’ve been a fan of BL since I was in high school (so it’s been about 10 years lol), but it was much more of a niche genre. The content was difficult to find, and if you did find it, it was poor quality. You were lucky if you found behind the scenes clips. Now, it’s gotten to be too much. People feel entitled to have access to these actors and their lives at all times. Not having that access allows you to appreciate the content more. I desperately wish we could go back to that. But we all know, as long as it’s profitable, these companies don’t care and these actors that have horrible personalities and ideologies will continue to profit 😕

There is almost too much to unpack here. I agree with the post below that mentioned all the things that are never ok. I agree with all of those. I also agree with the person that some of these are down to immaturity and youth and some of these are just outright unforgiveable. As an older fan, I do not care who they date nor do I really care about ship. At this point, I have noticed that except for TayNew and OffGun, and MaxTul most ships last for 3 years tbh. I am okay with fanservice to a point, but I do not expect it or do I need it to enjoy a show. These are actors playing characters. Period. Would it be nice if they were friends irl. Sure, but I have tons of colleagues I do not like and do not talk to after I quit a job. Also, I think maybe this is culturally, but straight couples are rarely if ever held to this standard. Kimberly and Mark were not before they got married. Nadech and Yaya were not. James Jiaryu has several really good chemistry with his costarsyet no one asks him to "date" his onscreen partners. Since Gulf move to CH3 are they shipping him with his female partners. Probably not. Back to the point. Most of these are a bridge too far it is up to the individual fan to decide if they will support them. I just saw Bad Buddy and adored Ohm and Nanon in it. Acting was on another level. I will be seeing what else Ohm is in because he is a good actor and let's be real bullying is horrible but he is barely in his 20's. He apologized and actions and time will tell, if he has changed. I will be honest I adore Tul so I will probably still pay attention to Mew and he is a good actor. Yet, he does seem to have a bit of a history of panning the ship when they move on. Also, Mew was in his late 20's so acting immature and unprofessional after 25 is a bit of a 👀 for me. Still, actions speak louder. Now, as far as the Build, Pavin, the one that harmed his gf,Foey, and White. I never really paid any attention so I will not be in the future. I am gonna keep it 100% here. I will never understand an actor actively taking on roles in the genre and dislike those they represent or it's fans. Unless, I am missing something they do not have to take on BL roles. Does GMMTv or BOC force them to? I get wanting fame and money but really why. I am still disappointed in Godt because I love 2Moons. Yet, at least he did one and was out. I would rather them do one than if they realize it is not for them do not continue than the actor do 4-5 shows participate in fan meetings/fanservice, get famous then disrespect their fans and the genre. I enjoy bl dramas and hate fan service in general … bl genre like others don’t need to depend on fan services… amongst many cons of the fan service, the ones i feel the most sensitive about are 1) companies and actors promote ships and fan service to create an emotional connection between the fans and their ships. when the actors tell fans that they need to separate fantasy from reality when theyrun into trouble… meaning as long as it’s beneficial they want the fantasy to take lead else it’s all reality. That’s abusing the emotional connection they created … rubbing their nose into it when things don’t go your way is not necessarily ideal for anyone involved 2) fans letting their emotional connection to their ships to bully others Both scenarios are very hurtful for all the parties involved … no one likes it when their emotions are played with. companies should stop using fan services to promote this genre. it’s so unhealthy and unfair on actors and viewers

Me personally I don't care to know any actor outside of their roles or public persona. I watch the shows and that is it. I'm fully aware that humans have flaws some more than others so I don't wanna know who is doing what with who. Most behind the scenes will leave fans disappointed and I have to protect my peace. I can't fathom loving an actor so much only to discover their misdeads or whatever leaving me disappointed in them. Like we don't know none of these people from nowhere but a role on a screen. I really like GreatInn, FirstKhao, BkPp, EarthMix and BillyBabe together. I like their acting and chemistry together and they really make me feel their roles. I haven't seen that much of OffGun and TayNew yet, but I think they're ok too and I like their friendship. What annoys me about this whole fandom is that the actors often become objects in my eyes and fans deny them their personal lives because they "buy" merch and ships. That's why I think it would actually be better if there were no ships. Even though I really love the above pairings.

From what I've seen and read (I've looked into this extensively) is was kind of a "mob mentality" everyone was playing, joking, teasing and eventually Earth became the target but everyone else involved thought, at the time, that it was just all in fun. It wasn't until afterwards when they were not in the midst of it that they started to realize that Earth wasn't having fun and was feeling ridiculed. Every single one of them did apologize and Earth has since forgiven them and there is no residual resentment.

We've all said and done things we have later regretted. Embarrassing and sometimes downright rude stuff can be blurted out without thinking. Those in the public eye are just as daft as the rest of us but I guess have a 'duty of care' in some respects. Those that have deliberately caused offence should be justly criticised but there are cases where a 'slip of the tongue' results in an OTT reaction from some. I feel especially sorry for New who obviously was joking about himself and not anyone else.

1. Among all of them, Build is the one who shocked me the most. His history of bad behaviours shows that he is one who will never change, so I don’t even know why he kept apologising. IF YOU WANT CLARIFICATION AND FACTS NOT MENTIONED IN THE VIDEO -- PLEASE READ THIS!!! I would like to make a few corrections. 1. Mean was joking when he said he might go back to BL if he was old and out of money. He was actually referencing people who only use BL as a stepping stone for their careers and some people didn't understand the joke, took it the wrong way and crucified him for it. He has, in fact, been in BL since then and he even wrote a BL as his university dissertation which he later directed when he released it on screen, it's called The Yearbook. 2. Build definitely has character flaws and probably is not the kind of person I would hang out with. However, he was able to prove his innocence from all of Poi's accusations. He doesn't seem to be a great guy, but she's complete trash for making such accusations so publicly when they were so easily proven wrong. Shoot, by accusing Build of giving Samon the plot of 4 Minutes she was second-hand accusing Samon of plagiarism, which is absolutely ludicrous!! 3. The whole thing with Tay & Gun was so stupid!! Toxic "fans" need to get their heads straight, actors can show affection to other actors however they want. So what if they kiss as friends?? Their roles and their on screen partners are their jobs. This one isn't a correction, but it sickens me how people can get so mean about something like this. 4. Krist & Singto - let's start with Krist. He's not homophonic and he hasn't made any homophonic comments. However, at the time he was quite young and "fans" were essentially harassing and hounding him about whether or not he was gay. He answered politely for MONTHS saying no, he was not. Then "fans" learned he had a girlfriend and they harassed her and said she was breaking up KristSingto and some went so far as to threaten her. Despite being in a decently long relationship with Krist she broke up with him because of these "fans." After that Krist was *still* being harassed regarding his sexuality and he finally got angry and gave the response shown on Instagram. As for Krist & Singto and the "rape joke" I'm sorry, even as an assault survivor I still have to roll my eyes at this one. They never made light of rape, they never joked about rape itself, they didn't victim shame .... the filter blurred out Singto's face, *he* said it made him look like a rape victim in one of those news interviews and Krist then said that he guessed that made him the perpetrator. Then the gal in the room who was doing the filming asked, "Mr. Perawat, why did you rape Mr. Prachaya?" Then Krist pretended to cry and started to answer when Singto interrupted him and said, "Why are you crying, shouldn't I be the one crying?" And there you have it. Pretty much the entire thing right there. So yeah, maybe even just referencing rape was insensitive, but they were not truly joking about the act of rape or the victims. Krist was raked over the coals and took a severe hit for it and it still follows him around -- when he didn't even start the joke!! I find that to be wholly unfair to him. #5. Joong is NOT half Turkish!!! His biological mother and biological father are both Thai. His parents got divorced, his mother married a Turkish man and moved to Turkey. Joong spent time with his mother in Turkey off and on through his elementary years. He speaks some Turkish. However, according to a friend who is a Thai translator the word they use in Thailand for "heterosexual male" literally translstes as "real man" so when Joong was using Turkish he translated the literal translation of the Thai word into Turkish for "real man" without thinking there was an issue with that. He did later apologize after his faux pax was explained to him. I just truly wish people putting out these kinds of videos would do more research rather than just watching other videos that say the same thing or reading articles that regurgitate the information. Don't republish information if you have not personally done deeper research and then think that giving a disclaimer for any wrong information frees you from any liability. So much of it is only half truths and a good deal of it is misinformation and borderline defamation since they don't give any of the supporting facts which completely changes the story. One thing that I find annoying is when people b*@# about things that an actor has done when he was in ELEMENTARY SCHOOL back when they were between the ages of 8-14. It's like who hasn't done something like that when they were young if they went to public school?! Yes, there are some people who haven't done these things but I'd say around 70% of all kids probably have. Kids don't know any better and have to make mistakes in order to learn what is right or wrong. You are not a god and NEVER make mistakes at some point in your life! The point is when you make these mistakes, you have to learn from them and never do them again. That is what being a human is. Humans make mistakes (usually when they are massively young such as elementary school or even high school). And they learn from them, repent and become a better human being as a result. This happens all the time it's just that when you're a celebrity it's blown out of proportion. If you're a regular human you usually get away with it and no one ever finds out. But it's like actors are not gods. They make mistakes just like everyone else. People should learn to forgive them for mistakes they made back in the past when they were kids and didn't know any better. A lot of people get jealous though when someone they used to know becomes famous and they are left behind. So they make up stories to get them in trouble. Most of these 'accusations' end up being false bc the person was just jealous of them. Some of them are true. But the point of the matter is, if it has to do with bullying or something like this or offending people but it happened back when you were 8-14 years old, most likely they DID NOT KNOW ANY BETTER AS THEY WERE KIDS AT THE TIME. Kids do stupid things and don't even realize it's wrong at the time. If they are an adult and do this then yes, they should be punished bc by that time they should know better. But if they are a child/kid, you shouldn't blame them and try and ruin their adult life now. You should teach them to be better and have them repent and do things that show they are sorry about what they did in the past. But don't blame them for what they did as a kid because as a kid they probably didn't know it was wrong at the time.

I tend to agree with you all. They all deserve to be hated through their un behavior personal matter. Working as an actor ,especially the lead role, they get more money as well they should get more impact when something is not right to the industry norm. BL world should not be the stepping stone to bigger role or bigger money or fame if they are not honest with it. Overall, I'd say there wouldn't have been an issue if not for toxic fans or decisions of young guys being guys. There are some like Mew and Build who are beyond toxic to the point of being nuclear waste dumps! Mean was old enough to know what he was doing and was just horrible to Earth along with most of the cast who didn't get enough hate as Mean but deserved it. I agreed with Foei's post from Tomi Lahner, but I thought his joke was wrong because the others felt uncomfortable but have to say some people get too touchy about gay jokes even if he may have gone a bit too far. The Bright issues are because of the Chinese not admitting to the truth that the CCP DID cause covid and there's no arguing facts and his pictures at the Las Vegas museum upset antisemitic fans and t*rriorist lovers! The Toy issue Is something more complicated. I've followed it since the beginning but haven't seen an update in a year. There are conflicting stories but originally he had only inflicted the stab wound that ended her life. What I've continued to see is that she had attempted suicide on numerous occasions and the majority of wounds were from several previous attempts in different ages of healing. He did admit that to the final blow but she had major mental health issues. My problem is that there's been no official statement except from 2021. The initial argument that night was supposedly his work in bls. Also the initial information was that they weren't dating but she was his senior from their hometown. James has a right to do his own thing even though I don't think it looks promising by what I've seen. I'm surprised when you mentioned Ohm you didn't mention Nanon too but again he apologized years ago and had to again which was for toxic fans not for the victim. A lot of these brought up are for the toxic fans not for the actual victims. Some victims don't like to be reminded of the past even more than the perpetrators do. All I can say about god is he fits in with Mew and Build. Joong's comments were supposedly to his Turkish fans so it's understandable since it's a muslim country and we know how a lot of muslims feel about gays! Seng and Freen deserve to have whatever relationship they want just like everyone else including the toxic fans! Just curious why you think mew is problematic? I find that most people who don't like mew are misunderstanding the situations. Some talk about the mewart situation and accuse mew of sa, but art said he kissed mew back. If you were keeping up with their live streams and their conversations on social media, you would know that art was a drama queen. He posted their private text messages several times and tagged mew. They would get in fights and art would stonewall mew to the point of getting on a bus and running away and even hid from mew at a bus stop one time. Art led mew on and mew had feelings for art. Art was very young and was adopted. He reminds me of shun from the Netflix show, the boyfriend. People like that crave love but are afraid to give it. His actions make sense though they aren't excusable. I understand art but it still stands that fans who don't understand all of that see mew as the bad guy and he just had feelings for art and was being led on. The second thing they have issues with is mew's fan service rant. They think he blamed fans for the fan service that he did, but that's not what he said. He apologized for the fan service and said there are sweet couple fans and it's ok to ship them. The fans he went off on were the fans that accused him of misleading them bc of the "talking in code" theory that waanjai were inventing after mewgulf stopped working together. Those things were not mew's fault. He even says that he doesn't know how else to tell them and that he has been telling them for years that they aren't together and he is single to the point that someone hired an investigator to follow them and harassed family members, so his harshness was bc being nice wasn't working. We've all seen how toxic and crazy fans can be and plenty of people since mew's rant have said mew was right, so anyone who takes issues with the fact that he was harsh with his wording needs to understand that he was talking to those crazy fans who deserved that, not the regular fans and not even the shipper fans. Only the ones who accused him of misleading them or attacked him or his family. If you read his rant with that in mind you will see that what he did was admirable and genuine. Most celebrities kiss fans 🍑 but actually hate them.

I didn't start watching bls until 2021, so that was after the mew and Art issues, but I've read enough of the back and forth, plus everything with Gulf and mew. As far as Art, I've haven't seen anything about him leading mew on or all that other crazy stuff you mentioned. I'm not saying it's not true, but I've never seen it, and I've looked because I like to be informed with facts and not hearsay. I have lots of issues with mew and that's my right, and if you want to kiss the ground, he walks on,that's yours also. I was never a fan of his because I think Gulf carried the series. I was genuinely curious about what you don't like about him and if what you don't like was misinformation bc of what you read up on. Which you shouldn't do btw. I did watch and read enough videos and comments between Art and mew and just of mew's other comments and posts to form an opinion about him. He's cringy, to say the least, and based on everything I've seen from him I believe the SA did happen and wouldn't be shocked if he hadn't done it to other guys and just paid them off. Like I stated previously, I never saw their interactions together, just Art's accusations and mew's denial and believe Art.
