I've been using 0.05% Retin A for more than 35 year's now, I'll be 60 in December and look at least 10 year's younger. I religiously use a 50 sunscreen every single day, without fail, since I was 24 year's old and it's paid off. I'm going to try the snail serum a try!!

Thanks for sharing. You can moisturize first, wait 20 minutes or so and then use Tretinoin to cut the irritation. Best wishes.

I have tried Egyptian Magic and it breaks areas of my face out, I recently started using a product by REN which reduces redness at night and I love it, never break out anymore. It feels like the Egyptian Magic. I love the Elemis products and I also use Tretinoin, my skin has never been better., will try out the snail balm too, I used to use one which was a prescription but it was very expensive. Thanks so much for all your help. I am a nurse Practitioner in southern California and in a partnership with a Dermatologist, I do all the laser work, which has also helped my skin enormously.

Nikol -- I have been using the Elemis for awhile and have loved it but I recently started using the snail mucin and I can’t believe how much better my skin looks …more hydrated and how my age spots are better !!! My skin looks so much better … I also added the frownies which I tried before but apparently I wasn’t using it well !! They are amazing as well ! What has your response been with the Snail mucin ? I love your videos❤️I’m 64 and I take care of my skin day and night. I use the snail mucin, Timeless Vit C, and Agency. I also have products I use from The Ordinary. I’m thinking I probably don’t need all these Ordinary products on top of The Agency which includes: Trelinoin 0.14%, Azelaic Acid 5%, Trenexamir Acid 5%, and Niacinamide 4%. I also use Cetaphil moisturizer over that, and Aqua4. I’m thinking I may be wasting money buying all The Ordinary Products on top of the Agency. I use the Agency 3 to 4 nights a week. I’ve never had any work done on my face and people often compliment my skin. I thinks it’s because I’m persistent with taking care of my skin, and do it daily.

I've used ponds moisture cream with the blue lid for 40 years under my makeup and at night doesn't bother your eyes and it doesn't clog your pores. I'm 65 with very few wrinkles and get compliments on my skin. Please try it under your makeup and let us know how you like it. It will save you a lot of money too. Helps your foundation go on very smoothly. You'll love it!

My grandmother used Ponds, and her skin was beautiful. At age 84, there were hardly any wrinkles. I must get some Ponds. I use Consult Beaute as my cleansing and moisturizing regimen, and I like it more than any other product, but I am open to trying new products.

At night, I use Tretinoin, a Korean Urea product, hyaluronic acid that Dermotologist recommended, and a moisturizer. I got the gel eye pads of Frownies from Amazon as it was same price and Prime is free shipping. I have no peeling or irritation. One of the day products I use is a 10% AHA that may be removing any flakiness from the Tretinoin.

Please explain "textured - oil glands." My smooth skin developed bumps at the start of my eyebrow overnight. My derm told me not to worry, and said that they were "oil glands." Personally, I did not accept that answer because it didn't make sense. Tretinoin: My skin is sensitive, and overall good texture. Last October, my derm prescribed Tretinoin for a few milia on my face. I started on Tretinoin .025%. A few months later - .05%. June, 2023 - .1%. It is curious that the milia did not clear up, and my skin texture is worse. This is the first time I've heard Egyptian Magic mentioned. Costco sold it for years, but I never bothered to buy it. This video was helpful.

thanks Nikol I use the Snail Mucin twice a day it is amazing on my 72yr old skin, I also use it with spray mineral water Uriage EauThermale with my Nuface as a conductor apply it once then spray each section and you don't need to cleanse after bonus, I have the Egyptian Magic thanks for the tip, I use Smoothies from Amazon a triangle between my brows and a long one over the top above my brows just peel and stick on clean dry skin so I wait until just before bed and dry the area, I love that smooth exfoliated look in the morning x

Hi Nikol! Love your channel. I am 57, and discovering true skin care for the first time. And, as much as I love make up, I have no idea how to use it. Thankfully, I am learning and enjoying the process with you. I do, however, have a question. It is one I have been struggling with my whole life. I have thin lips…very thin lips. As I get older, they are, of course, shrinking. My question is about color on thin lips. I feel like I need to wear clear gloss or a soft pink so that my “lack of lips” isn’t so obvious. I just ordered snail mucin & it arrived yesterday. The Amazon price is only $13.85 today! The company is also cruelty free! I tried it for the first time last night. It does have a hyaluronic acid type consistency. I use it under my retinol, but next time I'll try it after retinol. It is so true that we should regulate our own skin according to sun & other exposures. Every day, I look at my skin & decide if I will use retinol. Nikol, you are absolutely beautiful.
