Do people seriously believe these idols don't have eating disorders? Momo said in her trainee days, she had to only eat ice so that she could lose weight. Dahyun was almost kicked out of JYP during several occasions for not meeting weight standards. Y'all don't think the harsh diets and workout they go on will develop into disorders? It's not fast metabolism. And for the ones that are saying "they love eating, they ate on vlive", they could be throwing it all up when the cameras are off.

As someone who has suffered from anorexia, you don’t have to never eat, seeing Wonyoung eat on camera, or Yuna sending photos of food, does NOT mean they aren’t suffering from an ED. Wonyoung, for example, no one is naturally that thin. If she is eating, then she more than likely isn’t eating enough, or is purging and is forcing the food back out of her body each time she does eat or drink anything. Her knees are so red! That isn’t a good sign. A long term anorexic will suffer with things like that, the blood is going to her knees because it isn’t being properly pumped throughout her body. Nurse here - a "fast metabolism" isn't a thing in the way you're saying it. In fact, the more you weigh, the FASTER your metabolism because of how hard your body has to work to just pump your blood area, carrying the weight with you etc. Basically, to maintain weight a person weighing 200lbs would need to eat double the amount of calories of a person weighing 100lbs who was maintain weight. Also, NO these idols don't natural weigh that little! Nobody is naturally that severely underweight. The fact the they all recently, suddenly lost a lot of weight should make that obvious, too.

As someone who has fast metabolism, it’s hard to look fit. No matter how much we eat, we still look skinny and that sucks. And also, it’s hard to gain weight especially if you’re really active just like yuna. She’s very active, dancing, practice etc
@suga37742 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I understand what you may be saying about how it’s difficult to gain weight for those with fast metabolism, but I don’t think eating may be the only way to gain weight. You can try supplements and exercise that help gain mass. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

During M.O.T.T.E, he lost so much weight he even himself said that he wasn't doing good then and was really depressed, tired and lonely. Even though he is the reason why my type in men is skinny without muscles, i was really worried about him in 2017. But he gained weight since then and now looks much healthier and it's cause of his happiness. He is doing good and people shouldn't be so worried about him. He is doing things he loves and you can see from his posts that he actually is really happy. He has always been and still is skinny but that's why we love him. He is what he is and he is perfect that way. He is doing good. My baby.

I don't have an eating disorder, but I know that if you have one, telling that someone "you're getting too thin!", their brain has taken a lot of damage from starving themselves and they'll take those concerns as "compliments" and encourage them to continue starving themselves

Some of these drive me nuts. Everyone has different body types and metabolisms. It IS possible for you to see someone's ribs at certain angles and yet they're still not necessarily starving themselves. My sister has been tiny her whole life, and her and I both have weirdly large rib cages for our bodies. As a result, you can DEFINITELY see her rib cage sometimes depending on what position she's standing in. And yet she eats plenty, and is a healthy mother of two. While there are definitely issues among idols and celebrities in general with dangerous dieting and such, I feel like when people pick apart and critique these photos and then even go so far as to attack the individual it's no different than fat shaming or attacking someone for another physical attribute. 😬

My ribs used to look like that when I stood up like Yuna. I agree that people are blowing things out of proportion with her. I don't think it's healthy for her to stay that thin too far into adulthood because being underweight also comes with health risks too. NO, there is a difference between being "naturally skinny" and being severely underweight for your height and age. JFC, NEVER ENCOURAGE UNHEALTHY STANDARDS WTF.
