Consumerism keeps everyone poor. The most wealthy are very humble and not materialistic so you can't even tell who they are. The poor people look rich, but they are literally wearing their entire net worth. I live humbly and scaled to 90 units of real estate in 5 years.

What are practical ways to hang around people better than you? I think all relationships are based around a win-win relationships, so why would people better than me want to hang out with me? The only thing I can think of is places where people gather in public, churches, synagogues, sports. But these are usually never deep intimate relationships but just a quick meet and greet. Please help

I do not know about about part of number 5. You cannot ever lose time because you always have it. If you do not have time, you are dead. It all depends on how you use time.
