I had the same issue bro I had to get a new ssd and litteraly re install everything. my problem was with windows 11 so I just downloaded a boot drive for windows 10 and got windows 10 back on my new ssd. everything works since ive done this.
@knellhurst11 күн бұрын
@noname-zi9xm I've been working for a couple days to try to fix my computer as well, with the same concerns (windows 11 and my SSD seems fishy). Less than a 1-year old build. It's my first build, but i was very careful and it all booted perfectly first try. It runs very well. Err, *ran* well. Not the first time it started bluescreening... I went away for a couple weeks with it asleep, came back to reliable BSOD a bit after signing in. I fixed it this first time with SFC and DISM and CHKDSK... and get this... Deleting STEAM is what stabilized the PC and let me do that command prompt stuff. This time is a different beast. It won't even boot windows before "critical process died" BSOD. Other winRE features all fail (even reset and restore). It fails to install a clean Windows 11, and CMOS clear did not help. I have a couple more things I'm gonna try (like learning to delete the partitions set by the first install?), but after that, I'm just gonna have to take it to a professional lol... yikes. All I did was update Windows using Microsoft's MVP forum advisor tips for installing updates if the updates keep failing to install. They said to enable Framework 3.5, then click update, and boom. Ruined. It's been a continuous issue with the PC where some updates just don't want to install... and this time, it broke the thing. Jeez. What a headache lmao. So much research and "first time"-ing. I'm at peace with it now, though. I have a lot of fun with this stuff, but this issue is likely beyond my abilities and means... and now, my time window.

The hardest part is trying to diagnose an issue that you could only find online happening once in a reddit post only to find that there was no known solution, only a tedious workaround where you need to take off the front panel unplug and replug an led strip and put the panel back on. Then you get sick of doing that over and over and over and keep doing research, finding a few other cases of it happening, looking at differences and similarities between each happening, and then finding out you need to spend $200aud to get a new LGA1700 mother board all because Gigabyte wanted to be all silly goofy and not work. If you are looking for info on NV5 case led strip not working, its the Gigabyte motherboard.... Probably.

@StolenJoker844 ай бұрын
@@rucka704I think you have “boot” and “POST” confused. POST is an acronym that stands for “Power On Self Test”. That’s the process that the motherboard goes through when you first turn it on, and those small LEDs give you an idea of where it is in the cycle. When it gets stuck on an LED, the POST has failed and that LED will tell you (generally) what’s wrong, as there’s typically 4 of them - one for CPU, RAM, GPU, and storage. After the POST finishes, the LEDs all turn off, and the UEFI/BIOS then hands control over to your storage so the operating system (typically Windows, Mac, or Linux) can boot.

If you read the motherboard and have “tiny raccoon fingers” it’s fine, very easy also when cleaning dust out of your PC you are going to want to get “your mums toothbrush”

Front panel is super easy. My motherboard is labeled and the pins all connect together to install them in one shot. Maybe back in the day when they were all single pin connections and nothing was labeled. Even still not that bad.

Heres a little tip I found: Usually motherboards will have where to install, refer to motherboard manual which one is the positive pin. On the connectors is a little arrow, thats the positive pin.

20 years of experience here. Here is when the fun begins: If you buy an upgrade set, he is right, As long as it fits in your pc case, the hardest part are the front panel connectors. But here is where the hard part come is, checking compatibility between parts, like ram and cpu, and if the bios supports the speed setting, not to mention predicting bottlenecks, and performance issues. For instances building a rig for AI or Photoshop. That sayed the depth i go to is probably overkill because you just dont know. Lets take a designer, most designers will just not use some rendering options because it takes too long not know Photoshop is set to cpu only, or configeure the screen for color correctness, this basically means when you print something its as close to what you made in photoshop. There are a million things a good pc builder will keep in mind when selecting and building a pc. This becomes even harder when it comes to servers than power consumption, upkeep, end of life, and licenses become a concern too. The rabbit hole goes down farther than you might think. One thing that is nice most of the time, even if you royally screw up, is that it will still run and work, just not optimal.😅 O ye and my job, Debugging when it won't work. (My last debug problem: install proxmox on USB and will not reboot correctly after running for a day, but will boot correctly on cold start. Fix: when the USB is warm it takes longer for the bios to recognize the usb thus trying to start from the SSD😮 that one was fun😅)

I'm like this with Molex too, damn things are sharper than you'd think, and when you try to pull them apart they hold so tight together that when they finally separate you end up smashing your hands into whatever or whoever is near you.
