Notably, you can put a Dragon’s Approach and an extra turn spell (i.e. Time Stretch) under one Spellweaver Helix. This turns each of your Dragon’s Approaches nto extra turn spells.

Great list, but it was definitely missing your Booby Trap deck and your Seismic Assault/Land Tax deck. Those wonderful decks are some of the jankiest jank to have ever janked. Made me subscribe to the channel originally!

Ib Halfheart is one of my favorite commanders. I built him as Mono Red Landfall. After I have enough Mountains he is a great finisher in the deck. He's a ton of fun.

That Polukranos idea is epic, might actually give that a go. All the white 3-or-less stuff will synergise well with it too, I reckon you're onto something 👍

I've had an Iname deck for a long time, not playing the whole Mortal Combat stuff and I was mostly going for the self recursion spirits. I have to say the deck was very fun back in the day, might consider rebuilding it with all the new tribal goodies that came out in these last couple of years.

I have an Iname deck. I built it when I was sick with the 'vid a few years ago. I call it my Fever Dream. It's a powerful glass cannon. I have won with it on turn 4 with a good starting hand. It went undefeated in my group for five games or so. Love the deck.

My oathbreaker deck was very similar to Taigam. Using Ashiok, Dream Render with Exhume to wipeout my opponents' graveyard and reanimate for cheap. It was also playing Gravestorm and Web of Inertia.

I always thought the Sultai Volrath would be a really good fit for the Grandeur mechanic because he himself can become a copy of any of the other creatures and in black you can easily return the original back to your hand and re-use it for it's grandeur ability.

The main problem with prolukranis is that it is both slow (manawise) and telegraphed so he gets removed or just swept up way too often sadly.

Unrelated to this vid, but I'm interested how you mulligan. You normally use 34 lands per deck right? That feels low to me so I'd like to know how many lands you keep and so on. Sometimes I go to 5 cards and it never feels good so my playgroup lets everyone scry 1 for one game during the night to help even out hands. My other group does draw ten keep seven off the jump. Just curious about your info on this topic. Much love as always ❤️

i like to see 3 lands in my opening hand. or 2 and some form of ramp like an arcane signet. other than that i don't really care what's in my opening hand. i rarely ever mulligan.

Try Karlach with the master chef background. Green/red. Background gives counters so force lives. Karlach let's them attack twice WITH first strike. Pretty great with those powers being high.
