@@JovakiinJenkins no sure what stage in the game you're at but I use this as a base for my builds: killing blow, corrupt charge, buzz kill, organ shatter, sacrificial steel, sacrificial pressure, primed fever strike, North wind Throw 5 tau crimson archon shards 37.5% melee crit damage on zephyr with her 150% in air crit buff, get a decent riven, dexterity arcanes, use the rauta to keep up a 12x combo, gladiator mods, even blood rush, power throw if u want and primed smite mods, kullveros wrathful advance but at that point you're already way too OP

@@notvicious8793 I'd drop Buzz Kill for more crit damage. The explosion of Glaive Prime does proc slash, but it doesn't deal slash damage, so Buzz Kill does not affect it.

As someone with the Hate incarnon, it’s one of the few melee incarnons that’s worthwhile. Especially if you wanna cosplay Stalker and run the full set, which I believe DE fixed, so the evolutions for the Despair, and Hate that revolve around having each other equipped actually work.

If you don’t have the Orthos Prime, Edun, or Guandao Prime, your only other viable alternative is the Lesion. Another decent alternative to the Gram Prime are the Paracesis. You should use the Vitrica if you got it from Nihil in the Recall, in the old event, or from Nightwave, however. Weapon shown at 13:28 is the Fragor Prime.

I think you have the wrong build shown for the glaive at 10:23 The stance mod is Tempo Royale for heavy blades. Unless you're saying you're supposed to use a regular basic attack build on a glaive.

I recently got Garuda Prime mostly on accident while trying to get the new Wisp Prime and Boar Prime, and she's opened my eyes to how fun Melee weapons can be. Definitely gonna pull my old Broken War out of storage and dust it off with some sweet new mods before heading out there.

My favourite is the dual ichors incarnon. It works like a pocket Saryn nuking an area, can easily reach 100% stat chance, and at the same time can easily hit 7.5x crit multiplier, and go from 0x to 12x in 1-2 hits. It's an absolute monster

I love Skiajati. Free sword and very powerful with a fairly cheap build.

Since the Glaive build is not actually the right build, I'll give everybody here one that performs insanely well and only requires 1 forma. Stance: Astral Twilight. The rest; Power Throw, Primed Pressure Point (Non primed is okay too), Gladiator Might (I recommend this is the mod you swap out for a riven if you get one), Corrupt Charge, Sacrificial Steel, Amalgam Organ Shatter (Again, normal version is okay too but this is farmable so get it first chance you get), Volatile Quick Return, Killing Blow.

Another thing about the Xoris is that it has a much larger explosion range, sure between my glaive and xoris, the glaive does more damage, but i take the xoris more often than the glaive due to higher range

The Gunsen prime and Argo & Vel are some of the best hack and slash melees out there as well. Gunblades such as the Corufell and Redeemer prime are pretty damn good "melees" too.

It's worth noting that Innodem is capable of opening up enemies for finishers with its heavy attack, so you can get value from that +60% damage regardless of your frame pick.

Also related to the Nikana Discussion, if you're in game like right now you can get the Dex Nikana, which... Admittedly it is worse than the Prime in most ways (30 less damage, 4% less critical chance, -10% status chance, slightly slower attack speed, but actually has a Higher critical hit modifier... But for something that literally anyone can get at MR8 Right Now by literally just doing 1 mission is pretty decent compared to how far out of your way you'd need to go to get things like the Dragon or the Sepfahn or Syam. Granted, I'm probably going to try to get my mitts on all the duviri swords eventually anyway, but it's a valid option and doesn't even eat up an inventory slot.

Hate Incarnon can be normal attack playstyle, and it spit projectile that explodes after it sticks for a second. The explosion is self stagger, so use prime sure footed. I use it sometimes if I don't want to aim guns. haha

Eine Alternative zur Hate kann man sich übrigens auch auf Cetus bauen und die haut ordentlich rein. Als Variante zur Orthos Prime nutze ich gerne die Lesion; ist zwar etwas langsamer, hat aber dafür bei mir fast doppelten Grundschaden. Die Xoris dagegen gibt es indirekt im Granum-Void; sie ist eine Missionswaffe aus dem Deadlock-Protkoll. Dass sich deine Glaives nach dem aufgeladenen Angriff wieder aufbauen, liegt wahrscheinlich am Riven mit erhöhtem Startkombozähler.

I got the Kronen and 3/4 Kronen Prime pieces back in 2017, then stopped playing until last year. I hope relics come back, otherwise I'm gonna have to buy it at some point from the market. I don't remember how but I got the slaytra as a drop. Didn't buy it from Chipper, just got it from doing the grineer misison.

Cerata is meh as far as glaives go for general, but the toxin is the entire reason to use it anyway, you use it for Corpus since it will just delete them.

Praedos is a good alternative for kronen, although you can pretty much use ohma, tonfas stance is so op it doesnt even matter. Gram shouldn't be here, too clunky, pretty much require 2 sources of attack speed, stance are not that good either. No dual sword like dual keres or nami skila(which is a lot stronger then gram), no stropha\vastilok (which is really good in its niche), no cerata(nukes corpus out of planet with not much investment). For machete nami solo would be better bc of incarnon. For dagger Karsit prime would be a good option, and its arguably easier to obtain or Ceramic dagger bc of incarnon. Zaws with exodia contagion is really good too. Scythes have good stance, so you can play light attack scythe, its pretty good.

long sword has the most satisfying heavy attack that I wish belonged to Nikanas instead. Nikanas heavy attack just sucks they need to badly rechange that. It should just down swipe and up swipe on its first and second heavy.

I hate that I only ever seem to get the Hate and War blueprint to drop from the stalker but never the Broken War, I sold it whenever I got it like years ago and I’ve never been able to get the Stalker to drop it since and I’m shattered about that fact lol

You can get it back from Cephalon Simarus, as is the same with all one-off quest items. I just recently got a second Broken War to build a War with this way.

I’m curious because I’m super new to the game, I just finished the Vor stuff and that’s as far as I got. Can you have a viable build with pretty much whatever you want? I really dig the load out I chose at the beginning with the bow kunai and sword. Loving everything about the game so far but it’s def alot to take in lol

Welcome to the game 😀 Nice that you're having a good time ^^ Most weapons in the game are viable even in higher levels as long as the mods are good. The starter weapons can, too, however I wouldn't call them "endgame" viable. But luckily there are other bows, swords and throwing weapons that are much better a bit later in the game so if you rnjoy these weapon types, you'll definitely have stuff to work with no matter how high the level gets 😉

Umbra melee weapon is the best even for endgame because it realy easy buildable and the damage is realy good i build it for both status and crit
