Ancient Egypt: Grave Buster Still a good plant, but the weakest by default Pirate Seas: Spring Bean For obvious reasons Wild West: Split Pea Useful for its homeworld, but not much else Far Future: E.M.Peach The Split Pea effect, altho it can at least deal with bulls in Wild West Dark Ages: Sun Bean I kind of enjoy using him, but other Sun Producers are objectively better like Primal Sunflower, Twin Sunflower, and ol' loyal, Sun Shroom. Big Wave Beach: Tangle Kelp For obvious reasons, better hope he locks his target on that pesky Fisherman Zombie, or you're gonna have to waste one of your plant foods on an Infi-Nut Frostbite Caves: Hot Potato The Split Pea effect, altho it can at least deal with octopi in Big Wave Beach, at least at level 5. Lost City: Gold Leaf A pretty good plant after they made it so that she could be used in all worlds, but still the weakest of the strongs Neon Mixtape Tour: Garlic For obvious reasons, he was soooo much better in PVZ1 Jurrasic Marsh: Perfume Shroom The Gold Leaf effect Modern Day: Nightshade A solid plant again, but the others are stronger.

I personally think Sun Bean Is being overhated. I used It a lot alongside Banana Launcher and It definitely helps getting them down more quickly. You should definitely consider bringing It If there's tanky threats that could eat It like Mechs and Strong Armoured Zombies. Bucket HP are the minimum since they generate around 200 sun. But I could see why people would overlook It because normal sun production Is already quite op.

Bloomerang is better than cabagepult so its not weak. Laser bean is one of the best multi-hitter. Magnet shroom can counter king zombie, more useful than sunbean. Gua is like a mini-jalopeno. Carrot is more useful than garblic as it revives expensive plants.

Here are a few worlds I disagree on: 1: far future. It's actually the EM peach. Citron is a high damage plant that can counter mechs. EM peach on the other hand can only be used in far future cuz it's only purpose is to disable mechs. I can just use instant-kill plants or even plant fooding ice bergs instead 2: beach wave. It's actually the title kelp. Title kelp is only usable in BWB but whenever there's a huge swarm of buckets, octo, and fishers, killing one zombie with title kelp won't help much and it sometimes even targets the wrong zombie. I wanna say lily pad but lily pad is REALLY needed in BWB and trust me, bowling bulb is SUPER powerful, trust me. 3: Frostbite caves. Yes fire plants can replace hot potato, but when upgraded, hot potato can be used to kill octopuses from octo zombie. The worst plant is actually the robonia. Because Stunion can poison zombies when upgraded, pepper pult is okay, and chard guard is good at protecting. Robonia sucks when there's a huge swarm of zombies and you need sweet potato or garlic(which you says it sucks) to protect robonia

WHERE. IS. EM. PEACH. that plant is GOD awful and it’s such a waste of a slot, even if machines are in the level. And what the heck I personally don’t like Bowling Bulb and I don’t like what it does but even I can’t deny that Tangle Kelp just… awful. I know, it one shots basic zombies, but the cooldown is just way too much at level one, making all the others plants in BWB just better options in general. (And along with that it can’t one shot other zombies like gargantuars and doesn’t even do massive damage which kind of sucks.) (also yeah I all understand your opinion so in the end I respect all of this 👍)

I'd say that the video is more or less stating the obvious. Of course a plant made to counter the specific gimmick of the world is only useful in this one world. But for the other ones it's really a vanilla balancing moment, so the picks are fine.
