These big crayfish gatecrashed my fishing trip.

I was trying to catch finned fish when these big crayfish decided they wanted my bait.
These are Spiny Murray Crayfish, the second biggest freshwater crayfish in the world. Second biggest only to the giant Tasmanian Crayfish.

It's certainly slowed down a lot mate. Although, I have a cod fishing video coming out on Sunday night which was filmed AFTER this trip. There's still a few around, but it is quite hit and miss in my area, with more misses than hits. Prepare for the carp videos...

@@robbiefishing I got the new cheapie rod. It's a six foot collapsible bait caster rod, $20 including postage. It matches my cheapest baitcaster reel I bought previously for $20. I took it and my lld Shakespeare Sigma collapsible spinner rod and cheap reel out to the jetty at Largs today. I got one fish on each. An undersized gar on the Shakespeare and an undersized salmon trout on the baitcaster, on a long soft plastic minnow. I'm stoked.
