control mirrors like this are always so interesting. Once I saw the opponent Seance N'Zoth twice, I was so sure Trump would never be able to stretch his removal to outvalue them, but the madman managed to pull it off, and he definitely wouldn't have been able to without the quest.

I won in fatigue against another priest who used spirit of the dead to shuffle several more cards into their deck. The quest offers you a lot of gas because they eventually run out of single target removal and they have to leave something up. Also double seance is so greedy.

@@Freekymoho I know why he did that, I just thought that the juxtaposition was funny. Also, the two statements were directly consecutive and it was the way that Trump viewed the game that changed between statements and not the board state, even though both are true at once.

@@niklasj53221 I mean, all it basically does is fill the board with a lot of taunts. It's simply hard to get through since burn is an archetype that Blizzard actively discouraged. So every deck is interactive with minions in a way to win and as such Res Priest is simply a good deck in the current design path of HS

8:18 Amet was super greedy here... He doesn't need it to win. Healing himself put him out of Lava burst range (spell totem on board means 6 damage), and Trump already recognized he didn't know what deck that was, and was surprised by the bloodlust... He might have ran Lava burst too. Avoid a death to Lava burst, VS playing Amet that doesn't do anything? Seems obvious to me... Khartut/heal self was much safer, and he gets nothing for taking the risky play. Amet does nothing (topdeck 2nd bloodlust doesn't kill him with or without amet).

Question to people who play HS a lot more than me: Is the Reborn mechanic as annoying as I thought it'd be, when it was first announced? I distantly recall, with Naxx and GvG giving us several "Deathrattle: Summon X minion," nobody was especially happy with having to deal with minions that make more minions. That hasn't changed much over the years, there were a few omnipresent cards in every meta, with the common theme of being annoyingly difficult to remove, generating tons of value, or some of both.

Think your opponent could have won the fatigue war by playing N'Zoth just for healing at certain low health points. And of course not playing Vargoth for that extra Mass Dispel could have helped a lot as well.

I don't get trump's fixation on Ahmet. It barely buffs the heal of the minions in his deck, usually +1 or 2 hp. Plus resurrecting it with psychopomp puts all of your minions at 1 hp or 3 if you heal it asap.

@no1bro if you only have a couple damage and they have no good plays next turn except hero power back up to full, then don’t attack. Once you can do more damage then they hero power, or if they start having good on curve plays you attack. TLDR: just don’t give them free hero powers

I picked a helluva month to start playing hearthstone again. Nzoth was one of those cards, I never wanted to see again. On the other hand, I got with 2k armor earthen might combo in wild, so... Tempo is dead for now, it all about the "value" until these cards rotate back to wild.
