A match up/vs video with these against the Kirkland wedges might be needed, similar price point, could be interesting!

They look nice. Mabey next try some bunker shots to see the durability of the copper plating. Nice review.

Another awesome and useful video!! What are your thoughts/recommendations for someone comparing and looking to buy either these or the Kirkland Signature (Costco) wedges that you reviewed alongside the Callaway edge set please?
@LetsPlayThru Жыл бұрын
I like them both. Whatever is easier and most appealing to your eye I'd say.

Gabe, you really have to give the maltby max milled wedges a test run. I recently got one and im highly impressed with how much it spins and how easy it is to hit. And younknow full well that the price is right. I would live to get a review on it.

Great video! These are the kind of clubs I tend to look for. Good performance at value price. Thanks for sharing!

Good review Gabe, definitely could help a lot of people who are budget minded and can use standard wedges.

I think these would be great for the general golfer. I am guessing they compare with the Kirkland wedges. My thing would be the lack of grind or bounce changes. Depending on how you play and the grass on the course you play it might be a factor, I guess. They seem nice and for the price not too bad.
@LetsPlayThru Жыл бұрын
Yes pretty comparable in performance. That full face groove bing the one main difference and of course the finish.

Gabe, I love all your reviews. Especially the "lesser known" brands like these wedges. As a dedicated Gigagolf player, I was thrilled to find your review of the Pursuit m410s. Would love to see more Gigagolf club reviews & maybe some Maltbys too!

Thanks Jason. I’ll def try to work more DTC brands in this year

Very similar

I can't wait until you review the Kirkland Signature irons that are reportedly coming out this year. I feel like as Avg. golfers we are all looking for deals(the course & at the shop).

I can’t wait either, pumped for those 💪

Seems to be a good and decent set. As a few others have mentioned, I am curious about the lack of bounce and grind - it could be that by the time you are worried about tailoring to that level, an inexpensive set won't be what ya need. But still, seem like a good way to have a quick upgrade from a starter set.
@LetsPlayThru Жыл бұрын
Agree with that. I’d say 80% of us don’t need to get that specific, but when it’s time, it’s time.

@@LetsPlayThru looking forward to trying them all, but am looking at the Ping G430’s or maybe seeing how the feel is of the Stealth 2 HD, or the New Srixons. But I am hoping well there i can figure out gapping and just being able to try the new stuff that has come out. I’m starting with the Irons and then will fill in the bag as a little more money comes in.

Gabe, while your going down this rabbit hole, would be interested in seeing a review of the Lazrus irons. Seem to be gaining quite the following all of a sudden

Nice review. Would like to see how they hold up after some good use. Doesn't look like they have grind I'd be looking for in the 56deg. The 52 looks find. Full sole. What's the bounce on those. Thanks

When you pitch when close, do you make a divot? I struggle with that shot.
@LetsPlayThru Жыл бұрын
Good question. I'd say more often than not I'm brushing the grass with a wedge of the green. Divot every once in a while but I try to Pinch it if I can.
