Was watching a video cops were called for a welfare check, invaded the guys apartment and would not leave when asked to fo so. Gentleman called 911 and the cops arrested him for calling 911 while they were already there. Aren't you supposed to call law enforcement if a tresspasser will not leave your property. Cops just never see themselves as tresspassers. Here they wanted to throw a charge at her to cover thier asses when they were the tresspassers, had no complaint from the owner.

I definitely understand your point but it would be impossible. no one would risk being a cop if every suspect had the oppertunity to financially ruin their life. that must happen many times per day. I went through a similar situation with police when I was parked on my mother’s business property. Unfortunately I didn’t know my rights at the time and allowed them to violate them. However I wasn’t treated nearly as cruelly as this woman was. Those officers deserve prison time for assaulting her.

Being put in handcuffs isn't necessarily violent. And it's not even necessarily a sign that you've been arrested. But they are often used in violent situations and sometimes they are misused by being put on too tight. Police officers do have a tendency to use them far too often, IMO.

Because she's there under a job order, you could actually do the employee complaint route - in that you never complain directly to a employee but always take it a step up, yes, it sound like Karen mindset, but what makes it not that are that you don't tell the employee or cause a scene. You go on as if nothing. In this situation, the woman should just tell the officers "I am not trasspassing, I am working. If you have any questions contact my boss". Hand her boss' contact information and go on her business(or just pull her windows up) until they can claim something other than a traspassing charge.

she should just say "Lawyer" and raise her hands in the air while denying ignoring thier questions and repeatedly asserting she wants a lawyer and is invoking her 5th amendment right till she can see one.
