Well it's an awesome to see a fishing guide that is humorous and we'll talk and explain things about the fishing about the fish that even I didn't know but it's always a good thing to learn from somebody that has more experience because they do it as I everyday lie for a everyday job and that boat was really really nice and really set up some really good fish that was caught in the video I enjoyed it and I could tell by the expression on you you were enjoying it as well so thank you for sharing and I might have to give Mark a call and come up there and try the blue cats in the Tennessee River thank you for sharing have a great day

I bought a Perception brand Kayak during the height of the pandemic. When every outdoor thing was expensive as hell. Spent twice what I should have. I regretted spending so much. It has just sat here for almost a year. Anyway, this channel persuaded me to not just have a kayak, but to enjoy it instead of feeling bad about the purchase. To actually have some fun. And I plan on it! I bought and installed a rod holder on the kayak yesterday and plan on taking it out fishing this weekend! I’m going to use some of the tips and tricks you have taught us. Hopefully I can catch some big cats!

My guess on the coloration is the temperature of the water. By the dam, the water is warmer, and the fish can produce a more normal skin pigment. In that deep water with less light, the fish stay more of a white color. Blue gill stay mainly white in winter too.

Not sure if the fish being darker below the dam and lighter above is this or not... but up here in the great lakes and finger lakes... when trolling trout and salmon fish in shallower warmer will be darker than those we catch in colder deeper water
