Caoba and Pablo sound fantastic. One funny thing I notice with my 11 is that the opens feel warm and round when I play, but when I record it they sound thin and ringy !

I'm surprized, but I like the Pablo the best. I'm not sure if it' the drum or the head, but it has a full range tone that has lots of depth. And I can't believe that I liked the mahogany the least. But all in all, I'd take any one in a heartbeat!

The pablo has a deep resonance ce that I've only found in a couple drums. Solid shells and really thick staved drums like VR.
