my notes: how to be magnetic 1. become uninterested of what they think about me. 2. change my mind. i can do anything i want, change your mindset. invest to yourself esp your mind and perpective of life. be so focused on improving yourself and yourself only. 3. don't be afraid of rejections. what they say about me is projection of them. 4. have a warrior mentality.

One of the things that will FLAT OUT make you the most attractive is: Focusing on your purpose. If you focus on building yourself up, your physique, your career. your money, you knowledge, it is very hard to not be attracted to that. Think about when someone you like texts you, we think "I shouldn't text them right away so I don't come off as too needy..." Well, the opposite of this, is when you're GENUINELY too busy building yourself that you cannot get back to them right away. THAT, is the secret.

I was raised my whole life by my mother to care about what people think about me (especially as a female). She always said “omg what are people going to say about you if they hear about this or that” “go hear what people are talking about you”. There was a stage in my life where I listened to her, and everything I did was centered around worrying what people will say. I COULDNT LIVE MY LIFE! I developed anxiety from it. I became that sick of it that I said enough is enough, doesn’t matter what people have to say. I’m still learning to break out of the toxic mindset my mother has raised me with, but I have come such a long way. It feels like I have broken out of chains. To those struggling with the same thing, you got this ❤️

0:18 become uninterested but have control. Whenever someone says something about you, instead of just 'ignoring' it you should actually reply to it. reply to it and ask them why they said it, have a reality check conversation because remember sometimes you could also be wrong and misunderstandings could be solved. moreover, standing up for yourself would make you a even happier and confident person. dont let them think that its okay to disrespect you in any aspect. Remember, if they said it once, they'll say it again and all the people around too will be influenced. in a nutshell: dont let anyone disrespect you.
@dreamyanon5151 Жыл бұрын
I used to have that same misconception, but I feel like while yes you can be wrong, you should develop the mind to self reflect on your behavior instead of inviting in other people's negativity because these people are only expressing their upset and dragging you down to feel their negative feelings (and even if you were in the wrong, it's still not your emotion to take on). they are likely not genuinely wanting you to improve your life and reach your goals (only you can root for yourself genuinely) or they might not be on the same sel improvement journey you are and just want to drag out an argument; if you feel you did something wrong, simply apologize and move on. Because when you are TRULY on a self improvement journey, you are in your own lane and not actually harming others because you are self focused, so if people have a problem, it's most of the time a them problem. If you want to be a better person, self reflect. But if you don't want to be disrespected, don't allow people to think there is an opening for it, that they can make you feel sorry or can talk with you negatively at all. They don't have access to you, period.

I used to look at these girls who seemed to be so confident and magnetic and observe them closely, observe what made them whom they are. I even became close to one of them, and one thing I realised that even the most confident-seeming people can be the most insecure ones, and I couldn't have realised this without becoming confident myself and then noticing the tells in others.

A tip for everyone these point are completely correct they help you achieve everything as mentioned but there are also where you achieve all this but still after certain amount of time irrespective of a long/short period there might come a time where you might loose all this go back to square one or maybe not square one but in the middle. So, its very important that with time you appreciate what you have become and what you can be and to never give into your temptations and also never lower your standards.

My dad was never supportive of me during my whole exam preparation year and when he heard my result i thought he was genuinely happy for me. But today he came to me to tell me an acquaintance's daughter has ranked higher than me and she is way more successful. I felt immediately down and demoralized till i saw this video. I know that he was broke for years and rejected from his phd application while trying to look after my mom and 4 sisters. He actually never congratulated me and my sisters properly for anything that we achieved maybe just because he wasn't satisfied with his educational background i really don't know. He is retired now and i definitely love him as my dad but he knows nothing about parenting :( Long story short this video made me remember that it is not about me, it is about people around me trying to bring me down intentionally or unintentionally.
