Absolutely brilliant!!! Bought a brand new pair of Nike VaporMax Plus and put my Spence Total Support Max insoles and I had the most annoying squeak 😩. After watching this video and sanding my Spenco insoles the squeak is gone and I can enjoy my shoes again. 😄. Thank you!

Use Dryer Sheets! Old Army technique. Take out your soles. Use the sole as a pattern on the dryer sheet. Cut out the pattern. Place the pattered dryer sheet into the shoe and then the sole on top. Automatic Squeak Less Shoes, Any shoes

This actually worked for me too. I have EasyFeet arch support that were squeaking. I had to do it a few times and did the bottom as well as the sides but they don’t squeak now. 👍

I took a chance and goggled "sequel between insoles and shoes" and I was brought here. SO EXCITED to go to the hardware store to get me a sanding block! Did this, fix only lasts about a day then squeak comes back, other vids say to use wax to coat the bottom should help trying that now, seeing how long it lasts. Also heard duct taping the bottom helps.

My dr scholls inserts had the most obnoxious squeak.I sanded it with 325 grit sand paper and now the squeak is gone!

This did not work for me. What worked was using candle wax or paraffin wax and rubbing it on the bottom of the insole

The squeak is caused by the insoles not fitting properly, most likely too big. So when you step, it forces the insoles down and they rub against the sides of the shoe.

How much did you sand them? Also are you sure its sanded in the right areas? I think its about removing the glossy finish on the insole where it contacts the inside of the shoe so that it stops rubbing and squeaking. This glossy sticky finish seems to create way too much friction, so once its gone its quiet. Worked for me...
