Superfeet Insoles Overview

Getting a legit orthotic grade insole along the lines of Superfeet is probably the easiest and best upgrade you can make to any pair of shoes that you plan to spend lots of time in. I personally have a pair in just about every work boot, hiking boot, and running shoe that I own. Years of soccer, snowboarding, and retail work (on your feet all day) have taken a toll on my feet and my joints, but these things are a game changer. I used the Green ones for years but always had issues with foot soreness. I also had to keep re-tying my laces throughout the day. I figured out the Greens were beating up my socks and by logical extension, my feet too. I switched to a new insole - Svartz Absorbers by UK boot maker Alt-Berg. They make all kinds of heavy duty boots, including for the military. The Absorbers are what they recommend for tabbing, also known as yomping, which is heavily laden, mixed pace movement on demanding terrain. I figured, if the Army guys are buying these things with their own money they must be worth checking out. After some initial worry about no improvement my feet, after they had begun to heal from the damage done by the Greens, felt so much better and I experienced much better stability in the boots too. In addition, I often go an entire day of mixed use without needing to re-tie my laces. The most similar US available item I can see are the gel insoles by Lathrop. I tried to source these but there seems no way to obtain them in the UK. The Svartz are fine though - not as durable as the Greens, which last forever, but my feet feel like they will last much longer with the Svartz!

I got the orange ones for my work boots. I wear Salomon XA Forces. I spend hours on my feet and have to run. Is the orange the correct ones?

Most of the Suprfeet orthotic insoles will work fine for your application, it really just depends on what fits your foot correctly. If the Orange feel good, they'll work fine.

Thanks James! What will work best is going to be different from person to person. Some of our most popular ones would be Superfeet Green, Superfeet Trailblazer, & Spenco Total Support Max - but the best bet is if you can try a few out to see what you like the most.

It really depends what fits your foot the best. For me personally, the Carbon, Black, and 3/4 Deluxe seem to work the best for boots with non-removable insoles since they take up the least amount of space. For ones with removeable insoles it will really depend - I'd try a few out if you can to see what feels best.

Might not be the right one for you. We've fit a few thousand people with orthotics from Superfeet and Spenco. From our experience one model can feel terrible while a different model from the same brand can feel 100% better. For what it's worth, Superfeet offers a comfort guarantee so you should be able to return them or exchange for a different pair.

100% correct we are trying to sell them, but that doesn't mean the benefits aren't real. If it makes you feel better, go try out one of the other brands of orthotics that we do not sell such as Sole, Curex, or Sheepfeet. They are all really good and I would advocate that anyone who puts high demands on their feet should wear orthotic insoles. I know Superfeet and Spenco both offer comfort guarantees where you can get a full refund if you do not like them - can't speak for the other brands, but I'm sure at least some of them do as well. The important thing is find what works for you, not buy stuff from us.

I have used them for the last twenty years everyday and love them! Either you will love or hate it. Give a try. If don't like it, you get your money back. They say to replace them evey 500 miles or 12 months. I do replace them every 5 years. They work great 👍
