These jumps are big! Snow Valley Bike Park / June 5, 2023

It was my first time to Snow Valley Bike Park this season. Opening day was the week before and I wasn't able to make it. They haven't added any new trails this season but I heard that they will. There was a ton of snow this season so I know it was hard for them to open this early. The top jumpline was still closed so we mainly hit Winchester jumpline to the Lower Jumpline. The jumps are big especially the lower jumpline and require a lot of speed. It can get really sketchy when it gets windy but luckily for us we didn't get any crazy gusts.
This place is fun but I know the biggest complaint is the dirt, it is very loose and blown out. I think if they can add wooden features and berms in areas that are really loose it would make a huge difference.

We went to Snow Valley for the first time last week! That lower jump line is so fun! Our 11-year-old twins were clearing the entire jump line by the end of the day! Everyone had a blast

It's not my favorite but it's fun, the chair lift is super fun and it has a ton of potential I can't wait to see what they add this year

No I think it's music maybe commercial. No I didn't wear armor or neck brace. I need to remember to wear neck brace at bike parks

I'd. be interested in your opinion of SV this year, for me, I am not a fan, but I went opening day and not a lot was built, if more berms in the loose corners would be built and some jumps in dead areas, I think it would be pretty cool, the reroutes on Bandit and Winchester are terrible (near the bottom), and the widening of the trail dumbed them down and made them loose...it feels like they are trying to fight the soft dirt and not embrace it, i'd be willing to give SV another chance but with rates that compare to Summit, I don't think its worth it, what do you think?

Well to be fair they opened a couple weeks after the place was covered in snow so there wasn't a lot of time for them to build. I'm sure they will add a lot as the season goes on
