I THINK tear asunder is lighting up because it could, in theory, be kicked to destroy a target nonland permanent AND you have enough mana (2) to cast it. The fact that the kicker is the only valid play doesn't prevent the card from lighting up .

@@Lordidude bc there's 3 sides to every story and you clearly don't know how contracts work. If it was only about money in vs money out, if wizards had half a brain they'd say that they'll pay him X dollars for Y watch time. Then it's literally impossible to "bring in less than he makes" as you so ignorantly put it. Assuming someone less brain dead than you is running wizards, it's either DEI or Wizards (in their normal, infinite stupidity), is slashing the entire division. This will mean CGB, and the rest of the names, will be cut completely. This may mean all new faces, this may mean a new direction (centrally controlled content), this may mean a scrapping of everything done previously and a rebuild of everything from the ground up. TLDR: It's in quotes bc there's more questions than answers until 2024 starts.
