SCHD is a solid choice for dividend investors, especially in uncertain markets. With its consistent dividend growth and solid track record, it feels like a reliable long-term hold. I’m focusing on ETFs like SCHD to balance growth with stability, especially as we navigate the impacts of rising interest rates.

I wholeheartedly concur; I'm 60 years old, just retired, and have about $1,250,000 in non-retirement assets. Compared to the whole value of my portfolio during the last three years, I have no debt and a very little amount of money in retirement accounts. To be completely honest, the information provided by invt-advisors can only be ignored but not neglected. Simply undertake research to choose a trustworthy one.

I believe that diversifying your investments is the safest way to handle it. One way to lessen the effects of a market crisis is to distribute investments over a variety of asset classes, such as international equities, bonds, and real estate. It's also critical to look for exprrt advce.

Agreed. It's always wise to be proactive and consider diversifying our investments to manage risks in uncertain economic times. I delegate my day-to-day investing to an advsr ever since suffering a major steep-down late 2019, amid rona-outbreak, and as of today, I'm semi-retired with barely 25% short of my $1m retirement goal after subsequent investments

There are many strategies which can be used to achieve FIRE; Aggressive capital growth early followed by capital withdrawal or purchase of income funds' Accumulate growing income. Through funds offering some yield and dividend growth like DRGO, VYM and SCHD. Buy the highest yields available given a reasonable level of risk. The yields and investments will depend on the skill and risk tolerance of the investor. There cannot be one FIRE investment.

My first thought was they sounds like a *marketing gimmick* like the Kevin O'Leary ETFs or the Meet Kevin ETFs. Another red flag for me is the Sofi ETFs, which are a poor knock-off of their intended ETFs. The biggest red flag, which you addressed, is they are an ETF of ETFs all managed by the same company, Tidal. I agree that these funds are just a cash-grab by Tidal to trick Millennials and Gen Z to give them money.

I am interested in PFFA but the net expense ratio is at 2.52% which is high. So here is my question, Is this expense deducted from my account or does this come out of the profits before the dividend is credited to my account. Is it like a sales expense? I believe that if the expense ratio is 0.06% then my position of $10,000 means I would pay $6 and with a rate of 2.52% I would pay $252. Did I get the math right? At my 75 years It just seems like a lot. Oh I love the work you do and keep it up.
