Lorkhan does sound beautiful, but I agree with the sentiment that a few others here have said that at times it is a bit much. I love the Skyrim OST because of the subtlety and gentleness of the exploration music that contrasts with the heavier, more dramatic boss music. Walking around Whiterun at night and getting smacked with a loud, epic orchestral piece kinda ruins the mood. It would be cool if they made an add-on version so I can get it woven in with the existing OST because a few of the tracks are amazing.

Completely agree the music is on par with some of the most emotional and nostalgic moments of the Ezio trilogy which is extremely jarring hearing just running through the rift.

I always loved Young Scrolls, he's simply a genius. Lorkhan mod is also very good and pleasing to the ear, but man... I feel like I love the OG OST more. Hearing the original sounds and music feels like home.

Thank you for showcasing Lorkhan. Sound is often missed but makes a great difference. I've played Skyrim so much that the soundtrack is burnt into my brain, so I now play without it. Having a new and complete mod that changes the sound and ambience will be a breath of fresh air. I'm looking forward to trying it in a new mod list.

I don't understand the Lollygaggin' - Vanilla Guard Armor Replacer, isn't that just the same as his "Son's of Skyrim" mod?

It keeps the vanilla guard helmets to keep a unified "police" feel...I agree though I never downloaded.

Yeah, that is an *OOPS* from SoftGaming. Used the wrong footage on that part. If you look at Lollygaggin' page on the Nexus (Link in Description) you can see that the helmets are completely different between the mods. The Images page gives a good look at each of the armors.

@@jimjam7928 lollygaggin' and SONS are two completely different mod authors. Lollygaggin uses a ton of SONS assets. SONS OF SKYRIM is hands down one of the best guard armor replacers that has ever been made in IMO.

Hey, Seems there is some weird misunderstanding. I have never ever published another Guard Armor Replacer, idk what that is about - I usually do NPC replacers @jimjam7928. Lollygaggin' is a mashup of Sons of Skyrim and Guards Armor Replacer which are both made by NORDWARUA, just with vanilla guard helmets. Idk why the mod was showcased here, when it looks like it indeed is just Sons of Skyrim - which is a very good mod by NordwarUA that it is based upon! NordwarUA was very kind to give me permission to use his assets - in which I then had this mod laying around in my own personal list for a while and just wanted to share it for a more 'vanilla' approach to it. I have severe anxiety and usually hate being on the internet like this - so please don't make up stuff about me it's a bit unnerving.

I don't understand why anyone would want the Stress & Fear debuff mod. Different strokes I guess. Dynamic Grip is awesome though. Absolutely will be grabbing that.

Lol, Lorkhan seems novel on paper, but when im walking through woods, I really dont need a verbose and exciting banger song lol. Its less "good" and its just "different". I can understand if you a 5 digit hour play time of skyrim, then its probably nice for a change of pace lol. Also that lock pick minigame looks atrocious haha

Would someone please help me mod Skyrim? I recently got a gaming PC, and since I haven't modded a game before, I'm not sure where to start. Naturally, the first game I want to mod is Skyrim. My goal is to make it as visually stunning, immersive, and awe-inspiring as possible. I want to experience the game at its best since, after completing it, I might not return to it. I looked at the Google Doc mod list. Can an inexperienced modder install this massive list of mods? I understand that my request might be challenging because I have no prior experience with modding. Dude disappears for a cpl months..proceeds to drop another video about the hot mods of the month...do any skyrim content makers actually look at mods anymore? or do you all just use the hot mods list. All the skyrim vidoes have become rinse and repeat of each other. Another beautiful presentation but some of these videos are getting hard to watch since all of you just use the same mod lists and keep reviewing the same mods...we all know about beheading... we voted it into the hot mod list you look at... find something unique to showcase it would be the first time in long time.

Nowadays the term "lorefriendly" is always used for skyrim mods even when there is no lore involved. And honestly this start to annoy me... Those musics in the first mod are more fitted (if not nearly identical) to others game series other than Elder Scrolls (the first music of the video is more near the atmosphere of The Witcher or Dragon Age, and some sound effects are more close to Diablo or Souls - like games). Do you want lore friendly sound and music for TES games? Keep TES themes and sounds! Their musics are already great! Do you want new musics and sound? Good, but not call them "lore friendly" when they are not

@@otterpodsit’s very assassins creed like which isn’t a bad thing depending on how you want the game to feel, but to me it is a bit too jarring too string based for the setting and sounds more renaissance setting than Nordic adventurer. The original soundtrack is one of the few things Bethesda gets right so far right in fact I find it extremely hard to replace them in any of their games. TLDR needs more drums less strings this is Skyrim not assassins creed 2
