THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE ARRESTED.
So I'm wondring if someone can explain to me how seven people can cause interuptions to thousands of people. Cost a cruise line thousands of dollars. Cause people to miss flights. Yet nothing happens to them and they come back the very next day and do it all over again to another cruise ship.

Why doesn't the cruise companies hold the ports accountable. Get the lawyers involved and back charge the ports for the additional fees. Loss of profits will encourage compliance.

The protest also followed the news in June that the city government of Amsterdam plans to limit and then move cruise ships away from the city center dock. By 2026 the plan calls for limiting cruise ship calls followed by a requirement for the ships to use shore power while on dock. The city is exploring entirely banning cruise ships and moving their dock to the west by 2035.
