Idk why they were so shocked at the price point of the Christmas tree. Regular fake trees that come pre-lit are cumbersome to assemble and they cost about that much and they don't come with ornaments. I think the sharks missed out here. I worked at a furniture store that sold a huge volume of Christmas decor - not trees but ornaments and other decor. I have personally seen people drop $300-$400 on just ornaments in a single transaction. A basic 6' Christmas tree from Walmart with lights built in is like $150-$200 plus the ornaments is another $50 - and it'll take 2-3 hours to put up and decorate it and it will have to be torn down and another 2-3 hours to decorate it next year. This defs has an application in businesses, showtimes, offices, retail spaces.
