Thanks for putting this into perspective before I run my truck tomorrow. Going to switch out that battery pack before anything tho.

i had the same runaway problems , now i have two failsafes installed , one on spectrum transmitter when signal lost , one from alewings failsafe that kicks in on low battery power , a tirth failsafe like yours could be nice !

the run away i had was because of throttle servo decide to break when i was accelrating , and was not able to aply the brakes.

I've had one runaway ever and that one happened in the 40MHz era when someone else was using a frequency that ended up incompatible with mine. One thing I always did was adding a spring on the carb that pulls the throttle shut in case of power loss or a linkage coming loose (some carbs default to 1/4-1/2 throttle with no linkage attached). Saved my ass a bunch of times.

The glitch buster is more to stop brown outs, than to stop twitching. From my experience anyway
@thenitronation58154 жыл бұрын
RC OFFROAD RACING yes they help with that also

Hey I've had plenty Rc's and never used any thing other than the stock fail safe and changed out to a hump pack. Never had a run away 💯

I haven't had a runaway with my tmaxx 2.5 and it has the same pack I'm ready to drop the controller and run haha I'm saving up for a new lack like those
@treylaverdiere78824 жыл бұрын
how long do they last?

I always use lipo. Charge/drive/storage charging takes 30 minutes. Most runaways happend with 40MHz. Or the 4x dubble A batteries. Invest in good electronics never buy this second hand.
@olivierplayer1633 Жыл бұрын
i think radio problems you have in cheap transmitters !
@KHeidendal2 жыл бұрын
First turn on transmitter and second the car.

On that vehicle I’m running a savox 1273 for throttle and a savox 2271 for steering
