I’m from Glasgow and can’t compare it to 60s and 70s as I grew up in the 90s and early 2000s it’s so much calmer now than then, I was stabbed multiple times and retaliated in kind but I chose to live in that world as a young man if you are just the average person you would be very unlucky to be a victim of violence now unless you draw attention to yourself or be in the wrong place in the wrong time, compared to when I was growing up if you weren’t from my area then you were are target 🎯
