Can you fish the weightless worm with a medium rod? Most of mine are finesse rods, I don’t have heavy rods yet

That 7’ 6” I use has just the right amount of flick for a heavier rod but a medium would probably actually work better 👊🏼🎣 I use this heavier gear to pull fish up and out of the danger zone faster and get more of a stout hook set!

Too many bass fishing videos on youtube so I prefer videos of you catching other species, exploring new places or you using your forward facing sonar. I noticed you don't do many walleye or brown trout fishing.

I used to fish big salmon and trout a TON! Same with walleye I just get bored after catching the same species for a long period of time so I switch and bass whether people like it or not are pretty much everywhere so it’s always an option for some good hooks sets and fighting fish 🤷🏼‍♂️ I wish more people would just enjoy catching fish. Versus getting stuck on one species or another.

@@DWSOutdoors I try to go for almost every species. It just depends on the season. Early spring like in late march-april, I'll go for trout and walleyes. Then may I'm definitely hitting the whitebass. I might hit the cats in late may. After that it's mostly large and small mouth for the whole summer. Winter time is definitely for panfish
