Cartilage not bone. When long casting, look up at the at about 45 degree angle, plant your feet so the hips can lead the cast.

i usually llike to to smoke the blacktip on a home made Texas smoke mix and only use half to eat the other freeze for shark bait got massive run on that bait only started using when seen the hammer caught on backtip h by Greg Norman

Black tip is great bait as well.

Great video. A foul hooked fish gives a hell of a fight. Add the marinade to the bag of fish instead of versa visa for better coverage.

Won’t have to wait for Brant to do a catch and cook now
@YakinwithJackАй бұрын
😂😂 I’ll still definitely wait

You think right now is peak season for blacktip in pensacola? They were biting like crazy on sanibel island 2 weeks ago when i was there.
@YakinwithJackАй бұрын
It’s definitely heating up but not peak season yet

If you were using a 8’ spinning jigging rod that fish woulda been landed in 10 minutes! Try it brother I get that you’re supporting your buddy’s brand but surf rods suck for shark fishing.
@YakinwithJackАй бұрын
I’m not casting 6 foot leader with a eight foot rod you will never get it far enough. Also the shark was foul hooked in its dorsal fin
@still-tight-fishenАй бұрын
@@YakinwithJack I mean he has a point jigging rods have a lot more back bone than surf rods and as long as you tie a thin leader knot like an fg knot your good I do it all the time with like 12 ft leaders and that stiffer back bone let’s you cast just as far as a surf rod
@chasedejonge2883Ай бұрын
@@still-tight-fishenthat’s fine with topshot, but you can’t bring swivels through the eyes regardless.
@still-tight-fishenАй бұрын
@@chasedejonge2883 yea but how much dam wire do you guys use because I only use like 2-3 feet
