Player lock is kinda like MyCareer/MyPlayer but just a better version kind of. Also if you’re wondering why your teammates keep missing and won’t actually play aggressively is to edit the player’s likelihood of everything to play aggressive against defense.

Also helps if you REALLY get busy in the individual player tendencies. Have their tendencies set up so that certain players or even your own absolutely exploit the mess out of you when you play against them. Personally I want to get FRIED by the cpu so these putting the run plays frequency down to 5 or below helps.

Hey Shady! So I tried these sliders on the PC version and they work SO good. Especially the defensive sliders and coaching sliders you put up. The spacing now is perfect. Feels real good. Why does changing the help defense to 40 and run play frequency to 5 make such a huge difference? I'm finally enjoying the game more.

Shot timing includes multiple landing animations, good job keeping it on bro. I have a suggestion to you though, put the acceleration attribute to 43 or 44 and bump up the speed attribute to 63 to 68 which ever you like. Then movement sliders on ball to min 30 max 90 on ball and max 95 off ball, then acceleration to min 35 on and off the ball to a max 100. You would have a better off ball movement since the players will be literally sprinting on cuts and getting in position, but not with the sudden burst of speed. Since, as you told you also play team defense rather than silly one on one defense it helps on recovery and switches, most especially on drop coverage. The best thing about these movement settings though is you can sprint from one side to another which looks realistic and is ideal for playing team defense on a scheme.

Yeah I would not recommend these changes because while the global acceleration sliders and the global speed sliders work the *WITH BALL* movement and acceleration sliders do not work, so all you would be doing really is making your and the CPU P&R / halfcourt defense worse. That's why I stopped tweaking the global speed and acceleration sliders this year. If you look at my 22 set that's what I did last year.

@@ShadyMike Well, that's true though if you don't tweak the corresponding sliders to compensate with the movement. Or it's just a matter of preference? Idk. But really, I recently just tested this setting on my sliders and enjoyed it cause it made the offense move the ball more and the defense harder and tighter cause that was actually the goal (I've set this on Euroleague games) I haven'treally noticed the PnR defense worsening if anything, I actually thought it got better, the back pedalling drop defender isn't getting beaten by a blow by. I've set the defensive awareness to a 91 and on ball defense to 35, from my observation if you lowered it below 50 the defender makes space for the ball handler.

I've been away for the last month and whilst I've had someone updating my scenario for me whilst I've been away I can't 100% confirm how up-to-date it is, but just to avoid any confusion the gamertag for scenario 2 you put in the description is JACKCALlCO, where the letter after the capital L is actually a lower case L, so it would be JACKCALLCO. I do the opposite, while time consuming, it works great for me. I set run plays for cpu to 80 or more, depends on the team and coach and give them 4 dif random plays of each category in playbook because many teams have zero plays in some categories and assign play for at least starters of each team or everyone if i feel like it. I also set freelance for each team based on what i think they would run. I can say that every team play differently and its refreshing insteid of running one play each fucking time. Sliders are personal preference but i will say that most of them means nothing, its players personal tendecies that really means something but that is waaaay too much time cinsuming.

These sliders are garbage. don't know how you play a game where every time the cpu puts the ball up it goes in regardless of the contest. its one thing to occasionally hit contested shots but a guy 9th in the rotation is not draining completely contested threes repeatedly. and the timing is never green either just flat out late or early.

So the ATD rosters you only gotta do the badges however some of them already had limited range on everyone so go through and check (I dont have an xbox so I cant check that one) the tendency edits are only for default non-atd rosters and that includes the PTsports84 one.

Can you talk about the defense? I can't get any steals. I turn the cpu ball security to zero, no steals. I turn it to 100, no steals. I have a point guard with 97 steal rating and 2 guard with 92 steal rating. What is going on. What is a good realistic setting for this area or is there another slider that I need to adjust? My cpu teammates dont even get steals. CPU defense on the other hand is OD. They help 100%, can't blowby anybody. They don't miss shots offensively. This game sucks
