When the new year rolls around Bissouma, Sarr and Son are all gone for 4 to 6 weeks for the African Nations Cup and the Asian Cup. That's 3 of the mainstays in the team gone so let's just enjoy the ride for now the reality is we'll do well to finish in the top 4 but unless Levy is going to blow his budget on some superstars in January and hope it doesn't ruin the team spirit that's the best we can really hope for.

Spurs fan here. We will not win the league. These might be the 0.05% that think we will. We're just happy to not have a toxic vibe in the club and to be playing front foot football. UCL next season, new manager and no Harry Kane, would be an amazing season.

At the end of the day. The league title is a game of math. We’re 25% of the way through the season and Tottenham are top of the league. The have a streak of games in which they should get results and accumulate more points to increase that lead until December 3rd at the ettihad., at which point we will have been through a third of season. From there it’s surviving December with tough games against City, Newcastle and Brighton, keep yourself top or close to it and then bring in reinforcements in January for the final push. At the end of the day Spurs have put themselves in a position to control their own destiny and make themselves as attractive as possible for transfers come January that will be critical to get over the line. I imagine Ivan Toney will be a target, a crossing winger to replace the lose of Persic on the bench, a centerback and maybe a DM depending on if Hojberg leaves this winter.

I think it's unlikely we will win the league BUT I have high hopes because we use to beat the likes of Arsenal, Man City etc but always flopped against bottom team who defend and we just didn't have the quality to break that. Just need Maddison and Son to be fit and not get injured then at least we can try to be title contenders. If we don't aim high then we will never win the league.
