I hated this vehicle so much my wife was also mesmerized by the features it came with but over all to many problems with the vehicle electrical wiring was off fuses kept burning eps sensor the airbags were defective out im a dodge guy but a happy wife equals a happy life it took about 2 months for the car to start with problems only had it for a total of 3 months i had to throw 7000 on top and use it as a trade in nothing good out of this vehicle set me back financially and damaged my credit

Queen Michelle at the time it was like 15k. Ended up finding a 2016 Hyundai Elantra for nearly half my budget still in warranty so I did that instead. Best believe I’m picking up this sonata as soon as it depreciates by 50% though. Gorgeous car, and Hyundai is built to last!

Handling is where the Accord truly shines. Based on reviews the regular Sonata still haven’t improved a lot there. I can’t see Honda doing a Type R version of the Accord, they did have Accord Euro R though. Hopefully they revive that nameplate, because the Sport isn’t that exclusive.

I truly don't get the point of the gear buttons. People say it clears up room, but with the gear shifting lever near the steering wheel, you'll get all you need for other stuff on the center console. The 2003 Honda Pilot has the best use of that space.

I would disagree. I don’t think this will totally disrupt the market, but the fact that Hyundai is putting a Turbo 4 in it says a lot. If you want more power out of the Toyota or Accord, you need to move to the V6s which are horrible on gas compared to the 4s. The N line will really shake things up because there really isn’t anything like it in this class besides VW Arteon of course.

Ok, remote moving is really nice and cool, but how often it happened that i really could not get in vehicle from either side, that would be never for me and this feature is complexed and expansive. They really need to work on other things which do happen to people, or which contribute safety...key pad entry, map services with voice command all should have standard wireless chargers, ect

@@spazzman90 ok, so voice commanding does work on these, I'm glad to hear that and thanks for correcting me, I seen many high-end Vehicles where you have to input address with key pad only, I seen Android auto with Google Maps but no voice command... I had rented a few Ford vehicles with key pad, either you accidentally lock yourself out with All Electronics in, or I want to leave like that purposely to go to the beach or something, it's just the best way out of any other to have that possibility for me

To be quite frank, all car designs look relatively similar so it's easy to say one is copying the other. There are several reasons why cars all look fairly similar, but I think Hyundai do just enough to make some detailed changes to make their cars stand out a little. If a car company wants to go all out radical with their design, they risk making something very polarizing; case in point, the Tesla Cybertruck

These features are cool, but am I the only one that doesn’t need all this stuff? I just bought a Honda Passport Sport (base model) last month..... I got my MSRP down on Veterans Day to 30.400. Some of the people on Passport Forums paid 43,000 for their Elite model for a few extra features. Sounds crazy to me.

Drove one. Wind noise was unacceptable. I don’t understand how they did so well on everything else but left it with a noisy interior. I think interior isolation is one of the most underrated but important qualities of a car.

LOVE this car, got one myself as well as sell them. The N line unfortunately will have the dual clutch transmission. Which over time becomes very annoying while driving as to what made me trade in my last car that had it. 2020 Sonata is great!

I like that interior, but that front end just makes so sense styling wise. Those headlight accents are hideous. That welcome chime sounds almost too BMW/Toyota Supra like for my taste. For $34k, a Camry V6 sounds more attractive.

I think the new car is pretty although I still like the tail lights better for my 2015 Hyundai sonata. The lower trim comes with 190 horsepower 2.5 l engine and The limited comes with 180 horsepower 1.6 l turbo how does that make sense it should at least have the 2.5 l 190 horsepower motor in it.I'm so pissed because I wanted to buy this car and it comes with a downgraded motor WTF

If so, with all intents and purposes, the car will definitely recognize the key proximity (more than anything else) and stops. Though I don't doubt its technology, it would be better if someone else tries the summon maneuver while you stand in front of it.

The 'come to me' feature will not work with non-electronically shifted transmissions. I do prefer a traditional gear lever too but I totally understand why Hyundai put the push button gear selector in the car.

okleydokley I agree. AWD is only helpful for performance in situations when you need power to the rear wheels. For traction in snow or ice, good winter tires alone suffice.

Wait for the mid-cycle ('21 MY) refresh, as this same T-2.5L will be base on the Stinger's cousin, the '21 Genesis G70. So the N-engine, along with pretty much everything else will be available on the Stinger.

I'm in my 5th Sonata and not a fan of the front end. I would not buy one next time may move the last years G80 Sport used.....
