These guys really know how to work! I remember those days in my youth, but never had to clear out anything this far gone. The house had some good “bones”. I can see that neglect of a property can be even worse in tropical climes than where I live in New England.

It would have been nice to see the completed house. I had several thoughts. 1. I wonder how many critters they came across clearing that house and gardens. 2. I would worry that all the blackened areas they painted over might bleed through eventually.

They didn’t appear to get rid of the mould!? - They cleaned the place, bogged up to brickwork (resin!?), whilst still wet, then painted it!? But the mould is still there! 🤷🏼♀
@flamboyantflamingo9Ай бұрын
@@reefprayerresin I live in a subtropical climate and we use a paint that has a mold killer in it. We pressure wash as they did with a bleach solution, rinse, let it dry. As you see here, the area still appears black. We then paint. If you have a plastered house hopefully you don’t need to paint but once you do it is a repeated process. Be well
@reefprayerresinАй бұрын
@@flamboyantflamingo9 - Ok. I also live in a subtropical climate and yes, normally it’s washed down with bleach, but in this video they mentioned treating the mould, but just appeared to wash it with soapy water. .. Do you think it was a bleach solution they used, but just didn’t mention it? I would feel better if it was, and that the mould spores were truly dead. Yes, and mould killer in the paint. Ok, I can feel better about it now. 😉

Using a power washer on wooden walls? Talk about mold!
@reefprayerresinАй бұрын
@Lovenature255 - They talked about removing mold in this video, but we only saw them cleaning, no bleaching!? Did they remove the mold? It looks like they just covered the bricks with resin (while the floors were still wet!? - Presumably the walls were, too?), but didn’t repair the brickwork…. They painted over the mold!? Otherwise, an amazing job by these men. So good to see them wearing masks. I hope they got paid well for this clean up.

The initial image of home or house in your lovely presentation appears to be located in a completely different climatic region. however, as your presentation portrays, the cleansing efforts as well as the damage repairs to (as stated in audio)the vietnamese villa did improve upon the possible quality of residency.
