Gold comes in at those numbers all the time. Watch the Engagement ring video, that was locked in at 14-15. Yes SS comes in around the same numbers, but there is always a chance its gold at those numbers.

@@SOFLOTreasureFinds True, but not that size ring though ... its never going to be gold unless the band is broken .. found a 14k broken band recently at 15 ... and a small broken band 18k at 3 on the Manticore .... Yesterday got a 13 gram, 18k band at 64 on the Manti ...

Is there an advantage tide wise to hunting at night or are you avoiding crowded beaches? Just curious...

We hunt at night mainly for a few reasons, yes its far less crowded, but mainly because we both work full time jobs and going at night allows us to still hunt.
