That's unfortunate. I'd get stock wheels back on and paint correct it if any of it is metal, prevent rust. Too bad too, an RL optioned in tan and green is gorgeous and rare.

Thanks for the vdo, after putting wider wheels on my car I noticed some paint pitting, ran out and got mud flaps and stopped the damage and did not negatively effect the look of the car

Funny enough mine had mud flaps but I took them off didn't care for the look probably should have kept them on

Yeah, I looked at the forums and it's a known issue apparently since the cars release. The mud flaps are like $20 in ebay and it helps a great deal as well. Anyways, thanks for the content! 🤙🏼

I think that you should not put very wide tires that exceed the width of the car because the stones, mud and dirt ruin the paint since the car has a shape that is very tucked into that area and causes everything to hit the paint, but hey. fact friend!!!

Honestly yes I should have gone with like half an inch less wide but honestly the way the car handles with the wider tires is worth the tradeoff to me
