The bark like a dog segment was used against Linda McMahon when she was running for a political office in Connecticut years back

All of these moments have certainly aged like sour milk, but you can certainly due a part 2. The simultaneous addiction storylines of Scott Hall and Roadwarrior Hawk respectively, Al Wilson shagging himself to death, Randy Orton's promo on Eddie Guerrero, and IMO the worst moment to age like milk, Vince McMahon's decision to continue the Over the Edge 1999 PPV after WWE's negligence caused a wrestler to die during a live broadcast.

The Rock/Mankind 'I Quit' match is even worse if you watch the 'Beyond The Mat' documentary and see Foley's family before, during and after the match backstage. I don't know what Foley was thinking having his wife and young children sit front row for one of the most disgusting matches he ever had. It's the only match I can recall that legitimately made me feel bad watching it.
@labbaby1893 ай бұрын
It wasn't even supposed to be that bad. I'm guessing he assumed that they were prepared to see that match. The only thing uncharacteristic about it was the excessive chairshots. Foley has had worse matches... I would never want to leave the house if I saw my father get chucked off and thru an 18 foot cage.

No. Black face was not considered racist in 1990. It is considered racist nowadays. And people look at those moments as if people should have "known better", even though there was no way to know how people would view it 30+ years later.

@davedreamsofdumplings you're full of it. People did it all the time. It's become racist in recent years. I think quite a lot of these didn't simply age poorly....they were horrid at the time, too. I feel that in the 2000s, the reactionary social and political views being expressed through the WWE's booking was like 1970s style racism, homophobia and misogyny as compared to other things on tv. Like 'Friends' for example, gets a bad rap today for its portrayal of LGBT people and lack of diversity....but it's a million times less regressive than WWE's programming.

There was nothing racist in that promo...just what the "fans" thought they heard. The "fans" made it racist. You put the promo on screen but didn't even bother to read what it actually said. That's poor journalism. Like most youtubers that make video like this. Don't phone it in actually read what you are talking about. This isn't hate this is constructive criticism.
