One of my most favorite cards for flavor is Dugares the Timeless. He has 3 versions of his effect, each of which require you to skip a phase of your turn. You can skip your next draw phase to draw 2 cards and discard 1, skip your next main phase 1 to summon a monster from the GY, or skip your next turn’s battle phase to double the ATK of a monster. What I like is how well the card gets across the idea of someone messing with the flow of time to gain an immediate advantage. Each effect is based on the things you’d do in the phase that you’re going to skip (drawing, summoning, and attacking), and the downside is you don’t get to do that later, because Dugares stole away that period of time. It’s really neat.

Underworld Circle absolutely KILLS Dragon Link as the only mandatory spells/traps are Boot Sector, Dragon Ravine, 3 Quick Launch, and 3 chaos space. They are all dead draws after the card resolves. Also, monster mash decks are an instant for underworld Circle.

Since you mentioned anime accurate decks when talking about ghost girl, you know what kind of video I’d looove to see? The most frequently used cards for anime characters in like a top 10 or top 20 format. As a way to present their most commonly used/iconic cards. And it’s also interesting in the sense of, “how many duels has yusei played junk synchron or junk warrior in?” In a fun facts sort of way. Could spin that sort of video in different ways like an analysis for the characters playstyles or do a deck at the end with only their cards that they used at least in 2 or more duels. Now in the defense of some of those anime Duels where the LP is super low, for many characters in the Anime, they usually don't have a lot of resources at the time and usually, there is only one specific card that can get them out of it. Most of the time, they don't have a lot of options to win, so the lower their LP the more direr it is that they get the one or two cards they need because they probably won't survive the next turn. One of my all-time favorite Duels kind of exemplifies this: Jim vs The Supreme King(Hao) from Yu-Gi-Oh GX. From Turns 4 to 8 Jim's LP is constantly getting lower and his running out of cards on the field and in the hand, by the end of Turn 8 all he has on the field is a Feild Spell that prevents a Rock Monster from being destroyed one time only if it was Normal Summon and a weak Monster that can't help him against Evil Hero Malicious Edge which as a piercing effect and he's down to 50 LP, so it's direr he gets the right card now on Turn 9 to get back in an advantageous position otherwise it's unlikely he'll survive the next turn. Luckily, for him he does, he gets Fossil Hammer which destroys Edge, and then lets him Special Summon another Monster that's a lower level and is weaker than the monster in his hand so he can go on the offensive. Very few times in the anime, will Duelist be extremely prepared with multiple ways to win, most only have one or two One the only exception to this rule is another great GX Duel: Adrian(Amon) vs Yubel. Adrian is prepared for multiple situations during this duel. Exodia gets discarded because Yubel knew he was going for it to win, so he goes into the backup plan of Exodios and aims for the alternative win condition, then Yubel gets over Exodios protection by giving Adrian control of Armatayal who Banishes all other monsters on the controller's field at the end of the turn and Exodios's protection only works on opponets effect so it gets Banished. So Adrian switches up stratgies and tries to use Fog King to rack up counters for 4K burn damage. Yubel finds a way to destroy Fog King at a high price of losing most of her resources and dropping her LP to 100, so now both Duelists are reaching their limits on options on how to win, so Adrain tries to use Fog Castle and Break the Seal to retrieve Exodia to go with that plan again only for Exodia to get discarded again, but he has more cards to try and re-make Exodia next turn to win and now Yubel has to win now because she's out of other ways to get rid of Exodia so she knows she'll lose next turn if she doesn't. Also, something fun you can do with a Yugi Deck is using Underworld Circle to revive one of the Legendary Dragons, because they are considered Effect Monsters in the GY or face-down on the field, so you can bring it back to the Monster Card Zone as a Monster with 0 Attack and Defense, and I just find that funny.

I'm so glad you mentioned Sartorius ZTK'ing Prince Ojin because it's unironically one of my favourite O/F/ZTKs in the franchise; Sartorius not only made a semantically open prediction that literally everyone apart from Bastion misinterpreted & assumed was impossible, but then he was handtrapping so much that he had to specify while doing so that it was still _technically_ Ojin's turn. Also, much like there's a small asterisk with Don Thousand vs Mizar being a ZTK, there's one here too: Sartorius _technically_ did have a turn, but every phase of it was simultaneously skipped via *Mischief of the Time Goddess* before rolling back to Ojin's Battle Phase.

Probably not the best use of it , but make Emblem of the Plunder patrol a monster and then activate it , to special summon a ship from your graveyard with the equip spell , equipped on it . It gives 500 attack and targeting protection on your (banish/negate monsters) Though at this point you could just monster reborn blackbeard and draw a card instead

saw golden castle of stromburg in here and thought i would mention, that at one point, it was all over ranked duels in duel links. the card was still broken as fuck upon its release, but the maintenance cost was changed so the controller of the card banished 10 cards from the top of his or her deck face down! Duel links decks have a minimum deck size of 20 cards, with a max size of 30!

Yeah usually the "this card must attack" effects have a rider on them and actually say "This card must attack each turn if able." and if it has an effect that stops it from attacking then it isn't able to attack.

for card of sanctity if it was just strait up both you and your opponent draw 6 carda I'd say it would be balanced since assuming the start of the duel you and your opponent would literally have a 12 card opening hand giving some decent risk and reward since theres a high chance you opponent got a lot of destruption and there combo pieces with it, mabey just add an effect where you cant remove cards from your opponents hand the turn you activate card of sanctity.

Fitting, considering Zero Paradox literally claims your opponent's scales for itself.

Poison Chain. At the time, I could not believe ANY actual player believed this would have been released without a serious nerf. The three Divine Beast Norse god cads. Again, I remember how players were salivating at the idea of these cards being released without a nerf. Sorry, Konami ain't THAT dumb. Cursed Twin Dolls. This one eliminates the user's GY, and turns all the monsters there into "ghosts", which are still on the field but don't occupy any zones. HUH? Not sure how the text would even word that. Counterbalance: This is why Bakura used the Cursed Twin Dolls. This card mills one card from a players deck per card on the field during his end phase. And, because this is a Continuous Spell, that effect hits the user first; Bakura couldn't use this unless he eliminated his GY. Even if it WAS made, you wouldn't catch ME using it. Cemetery Change: One of Manjyome's cards, it's, uhm, technically possible, but kind of... weird. Buried Destiny: Another of Manjyome's cards from the same duel, and admittedly, it makes a good combo with Cemetery Change, but lets be honest, this could be used to search for ANY Spell Card, assuming your opponent hasn't used a copy of it, with no cost. Summon Capture. Jonouchi used this against Keith in YGO R. This was pretty interesting, as Keith got angry, claiming it was broken. While most would agree that it is, Keith not only blatantly cheated in their first duel in Duelist Kingdom, but used a card called The Pillager that was a lot like Summon Capture, but probably even more broken. Was anyone really surprised that Keith was a hypocrite? Wonder Cloud: Okay, this actually made more sense than Card of Desperation; you banish every card on the field, your GY, and in your hand, THEN draw cards equal to the number of cards on your opponent's field, and then banish the rest of your deck. any cards you play among the ones you draw cannot be countered or negated (I... think) When Amon used this against Manjyome, Jonah even said he was "betting the farm", so to speak. And finally, Conduction Warrior Linear Magnum Plus-Minus. Actually, this one isn't broken at all and is actually kind of cool, but I doubt it will ever be released for the OCG or TCG, simply because its name is too long to ever fit on a card. 🤣

Ok Yusie didn't cheat during the battle against Rex Goodwin it was a 3 on 1 duel so his partners cards was still on the field and he was allowed the use there fields, and GY for that duel to win Jack and Crow.....I don't remember what happened to them after there LP turned to 1 each

Crow fell off his D-Wheel as a result of a rough landing after Rasca's effect & was unable to continue the duel. Jack survived Rasca's effect but then the King of the Netherworld attacked both him & Yusei, causing his D-Wheel to spin out & crash, leaving him unable to continue the duel too. They were still able to take part in Yusei's friendship speeches after crashing but not in the duel itself lmao.

So speaking of a card I likenand have a connection with Guardian Eatos is my favorite card in the tcg I like it's art and think it's amazing (although I'll openly admit it took me way too long to discover that Eatos is a girl) Either way, Guardian Eatos is my favorite card also it helps that its sort of Native American design and I'm 1/8th Navajo so maybe that's part of why I like it? Side note: I still think it's funny how the Eatos equip spell is in the text "treated as a Noble Arms card"
