I love that your whole family is involved in the process of planting, maintaining, harvesting and preparing the food. They are going to have awesome life skills as adults. That is priceless.

Here's where I've had a bit of an epiphany. I've always loved the way you feed your family but today it dawned on me. You're not just eating to eat. Everything is so purposeful and it feels like a form of worship. It's beautiful.

Hello NWArkansan neighbor. First of all I love your channel! I also love that your children do their own laundry. I was raised on a large farm in the 70's, washed my own laundry and owned my own sewing machine by age 10. Folks would be surprised how many HS/College age kids don't or won't do their laundry. You guys are fantastic parents and your children will always appreciate what you've taught them. 😊

Mind was just blown by turning basil into pesto and freezing it! Why haven’t I thought of that?? Thank you!
@amyparker1762 Жыл бұрын
@rust-2450 if you have a smaller family like I do, you can make the pesto then freeze it into ice cube trays. Once frozen I pop the pesto cubes out of the tray and put the cubes into a ziplock bag and toss the bag back into the freezer. This allows you to grab out just enough cubes for the number of servings you’re cooking for. Enjoy!

I just started making extra bacon whenever I cook it. I take the extra chop it, spread it out on a pan stick it in the freezer for 1hr then put it into ziplocs and store it in the freezer, for those moments where bacon would make it better😝!! These recipes look so good! Thank you!

Hi, How are you doing ? ☺ Your crêpes are so appetizing, omg ! Love your vlogs. Salty, savoury crêpes in France are called galettes, "Galettes Bretonnes" more precisely. The dough (like a crêpes dough) is made exclusively with "Sarazin flour" (the Bretons are chauvinists ;) , & it's delicious. You should love it, you who already love French cuisine. Good Sunday ! 🙏

Costco sells pine nuts for a decent price per ounce. I have been making pesto all summer so that I will have a year's worth in the freezer. We make sourdough pesto pizza and we're kinda nuts about it, so we must have tons of pesto. 😅 Thanks for the reminder about frittatas. I tend to forget about those. Oh my!!! Cam's smoked pork butts. I highly recommend keeping a fire extinguisher near your grill. That's good that you don't have it near the house. But I highly recommend that also my father's tubing that went from the tank to the grill melted and he didn't know how it happened it just melted. So it's good to have a heat mat underneath it

Loved this video!!! I would also love to see a video on your experiences of being a mom. How it has changed and evolved from being a first time mommy to adding each baby along the way. How each one brought new challenges and tips to manage, even nap time tricks. First time mom here, managing a small garden and homestead dreaming of having more babies but wondering how I can do it. Any advice readily accepted as your family is an excellent role model for us! Thank you!
