in Sudan -Nubian pyramids are pyramids that were built by the rulers of the ancient Kushite kingdoms. The area of the Nile valley known as Nubia, which lies within the north of present day Sudan, was home to three Kushite kingdoms during antiquity. The first had its capital at Kerma (2500-1500 BC). The second was centered on Napata (1000-300 BC). Finally, the last kingdom was centered on Meroë (300 BC-AD 300). They are built of granite and sandstone. The pyramids were partially demolished by Italian combat medic turned explorer and treasure hunter Giuseppe Ferlini in the 1830s.[1] Kerma was Nubia's first centralized state with its own indigenous forms of architecture and burial customs. The last two kingdoms, Napata and Meroë, were heavily influenced by ancient Egypt culturally, economically, politically, and militarily. The Kushite kingdoms in turn competed strongly with Egypt economically and militarily. In 728 BC, the Kushite king Piye united the entire Nile valley from the delta to the city of Napata under his rule. Piye and his descendants ruled as the pharaohs of the Twenty-fifth Dynasty. Napatan control of Egypt ended after being conquered by Assyria in 656 BC. The Nubian pyramids are recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

@dejakeith22918 жыл бұрын
Gregory7222 Lets be more specific shall we? Yes there are African countries in turmoil, but that doesn't mean you have to generalize the whole damn continent. But you clearly don't give a shit which is evident by your word usage. Savages? Are you that much of a fucking moron that you have to degrade a whole people over matters which you probably know nothing about? You seem fucking naive and oblivious so it isn't really a surprise that you actually believe all of what the media is saying or portraying. Who said I was trying to make myself feel better? Sorry I don't buy into the all of the propaganda and documentaries representing Africa as some war-zone filled with tribes. I look past all of that and instead recognize the beautiful cultures, languages and people that inhabit the land, something that the media doesn't really like to cover. Lastly, your ignorance has yet to fail at amazing me. " You clearly embrace your non-African traits". Which African traits are you talking about hun? Last time I checked North, East, South and West Africans have their own distinct traits. From big noses, brown eyes, coarse hair and dark skin to lighter skin, lighter eyes and narrow noses. You don't even know my African heritage to make that claim. All of the "points" and "claims" you've made have been incredibly ignorant and ridiculous. Do a little bit more research and then come talk to me bud. Good day.

سارة علي So tell me? Why do our black american situation bother you so much? Sounds to me as if you are the one full of hate, envy, and jealously. You are a white hater, who hate to believe that we might feel good about ourselves. You know Satan is just like you, and you are just like Satan, For Satan tried to make Jesus Christ doubt that He was the Son of GOD, when Satan said "IF you Be the SON Of GOD, turn these stones into bread". You see Satan wanted Christ to doubt Himself and then complete the doubt by trying to prove Himself to him a dammed individual who would, nor, could not ever believe the truth. For there is no truth in Satan, nor is there truth in whites who want to be more than they are in this GOD created earth. You see, your anger against Black's in America let's me know that you are of your father the devil, when you try to tell us who we are, as opposed to what GOD says we are. I've noticed that you white devil's has upped your attacks of trying to discourage us Black's from our heightened sense of self and who GOD truly created us to be and become. That just let's me know that we are more closer than ever to discovering our true intended self, and in our creator GOD. Mister your words of anger, doubt, and deception is falling on deaf ears. We could care less about your opinions coming from your lying, fear, envy, jealously, and pure corrupted and evil rot that you call a soul and heart. So hold your peace you spawn of Satan.

Plato, Aristotle, Pythagoras and other Greek and Roman scholars documented that the University at Meroe was on par with those at Carthage and Alexandria. They also made it clear that anyone worth their salt would have been educated there. It is a travesty that Zahi Hawas, when he was Minister of State for Antiquities Affairs, refused to include the 25th Dynasty of Nubian Pharaohs on the Dynastic list at the Museum of Cairo. His racism and power mongering was beyond reason. Thank goodness his reign is over.

Very well made documentary. The shocking lifestyles of African tribes is absolutely unbelievable, not really amazing. Nomadic lifestyle I lived in the comfort RV on a go all the time & it was the happiest time of my life and I must get back to this lifestyle. Just like a Camel stop for the water & go. Constant change of the place to sleep for 3 to 5 days does something dynamic to the body not to get sensitive to the local area particulates of dust, molds, etc. That is how modern jet travel got instinctively invented , I suppose , but I just did it every cold winter & loved it.

@@DavidRodriguez-og4bm yes they are now Muslim but their history and civilization preceded the advent of Islam. Islam as a religion never came to vandalise culture nor identity. Indeed the Quran affirmed God's commitment of preserving tribe and race amongst the communities of nation.. "We have created you into tribe and nation so that you may know one another" is the Verse of the holy Quran. We object to arabization of Muslim race.not all Muslims are Arab nor are all Arab Muslim. We are proud of our cushitic race just as we do for our faith too and this is unnegotiable. Draconian political Islam aka wahabism which is hellbent in arabizing African Muslim must be stopped.

Chief Haroon is quite eloquent and projects himself as a cultured educated man I had to smile at his use of the term 'touch' when referring to the sharing of the land between herders and farmers. Animals don't see boundaries like humans do. This is an interesting challenge to be overcome. In other parts of Africa where herds of grazers are observed to turn grass land into a mosh pit some new techniques using mobile fencing or thorny bushes have overcome this, and keep herds on the move to the betterment of the land. I wonder if this new idea could be employed here. If so then everybody wins.
