The solar maximum happens BEFORE the poles flip on the sun. The sun spots are magnetic filiments that get twisted together like strans of string or yarn. When the filiments rupture the surface of the sun the "spots" are seen. the spots come in pairs, the leading spot is + charge, the trailing spot is - charge. The spots are dark because they are COOLER than the surrounding surface of the sun

Earth's magnetic poles have flipped at least 183 times in the last 83 million years. The last flip, called the Brunhes-Matuyama reversal, happened 780,000 years ago. While a magnetic pole flip sounds dramatic, its effects are likely to be more disruptive than catastrophic: * Weakened magnetic field: This could increase our exposure to solar radiation, potentially affecting satellites and power grids. * Compass confusion: Compasses would point south instead of north, requiring adjustments for navigation. * Auroras at lower latitudes: The Northern and Southern Lights might be visible in new locations. It's important to note that pole flips are gradual processes that occur over thousands of years, giving us time to adapt.

@@Rangerxpcrew yea, that 780 thousand year number is wrong. It was about 12000 years ago. That is why 130 different species of mega fauna disappeared. Its also why they find flash frozen mammoths and people with undigested food in their bellies in the siberian perma frost. And we are over due for the next one. Both poles are racing towards one another as we speak. Moving about 40 kilometers plus per year. More than they have moved over the previous 300 years.

@ the last magnetic pole flip, 780,000 years ago, predates most of the major megalithic structures around the world. And remember the Earth is on an elliptical orbit around the Sun, therefore we are sometimes closer or further away as Earth orbits the Sun it’s called The Milankovitch Cycles, this also affects how warm or cool Earth becomes
@BlackHoleSpain
@BlackHoleSpain 14 күн бұрын
Not related at all with Milankovitch cycles. All orbits are elliptical, but *Earth's orbit is almost circular* (a circumference is a type of ellipse, where both axis are equal) with 0.017 deviation (that's called excenticity of an ellipse). Milankovitch movement is related to a *wobbling* movement of the planet, like a spinning top, every 41,000 years.

But then, are you talking about 'our' poles, or the sun's? Look to history for the questions re other planets and the moon. Seems like we all still hold the same magnetism to the sun and earth. Take into consideration, the galactic current sheet (look it up) may have held our sun to ransom last cycle and still could over this one. This could cause problems for all planets if the sun has a mini explosion from that.

I am not sure about the solar activity back then however the wide array of wisping ever moving vivid colors was awe inspiring! The displays were so distinct in color patterns that each color had it's defined border with a new color right alongside it. I took pictures with my 35mm camera however when I sent the film for developing the developers assumed the photos were out of focus or too dark and never sent a single print from 4 rolls. While disappointing, I still have those memories of natures amazing ability to put on the greatest shows on earth.

The solar cycles are a large reason for alternating droughts and floods. Rain fall records in Australia show a correlation , eastern Australia had drought in 2019 . Currently having lots of rain , but I expect another drought around 2030.

Check the BOM - Bureau of Meteorology- below average rainfall (in the lowest 10% of October since 1900) Tassie, Victoria, SE NSW, parts of Qld, SW of WA, northern parts of SA & inland NT - above average rainfall (highest 10% since 1900) most of WA (except SW of WA) northern parts of NT & Qld, & scattered areas of the east coast. October was the first month of the northern wet season. Rainfall is likely to be 60-70% chance BELOW average for central WA (wheat belt) & typical range for much of Qld, NSW, Vic, & most of the east coast. Basically Wet season up North (closer to the equator) but there has been a Decline of 16% in April to October between 1970 - 2023 😊SA is already warning farmers of possible drought conditions. South Australia is the driest state in the driest continent (not including Antarctica) Greetings from Adelaide 🥰 (the seasons seem to be starting later)

@@yvetteblack9370 BOM seasonal forecasts have proven to be almost useless , in fact have been completely wrong numerous times. They were widely criticised earlier this year when their forecasts of hotter and drier conditions failed to eventuate. Also why does BOM use 1961 to 1990 as a baseline average for all their temperature forecast anomaly probabilities ? Australia has accurate records going back over 100 years yet they select a timeframe of only 29 years ...?? They now have data going for over 30 years since 1990 , yet they ignore it as well. We all know that the more data you can include when calculating averages , the better . If presenting accurate information is their priority , what possible reason could they have for selecting only a 29 year period ?

When God created the universe he asked he's favorite planet God:out of all the stars I just created who would win? Them or you The earth replied Earth:well if they were to release they domain supernova explosion it might cause me some trouble God:but will you lose Earth:nah I'd win While earth was in its way to the solar system, the sun the biggest star in the solar system and earth's only worthy opponent released its ultimate technique Hell's flame demonic solar flare This powerful attack begun annihilating every planet in its path but luckily for God's favorite planet it already learned domain disintegration and nullified it's attack with it's own magnetic field After a long fought battle God's favorite planet emerged victorious, then the sun asked it Sun:are you the strongest because you're earth or are you earth because you're the strongest Then earth replied Earth:when it comes to space and time my cosmic abilities are truly sublime Because through out the milky Way and the solar system... I alone and the HABITABLE ONE

As per NASA and USGS, the Earth's magnetic pole shifts do not occur in a regular cycle. Your mention of a 6000 yr. cycle may refer to a different phenomenon. For info re Earth's changing magnetosphere and Earth's magnetic pole reversals, search for articles at the websites of NASA and USGS GOV.

I live in Louisiana and I never expected to see the aurora borealis, but in October 2024 I was able to capture a beautiful photo of it on the horizon under the full moon. They had just begun burning the harvested sugar cane fields and I saw the haze under the cloudless night sky from the top of the ferris wheel at the Parish Fair. When I looked at the photos the sky was blue on the horizon, then red from the aurora, and then white from the smoke, then deep bluish black with the full moon and starts on the blackness above. One of my favorite sky photos I've taken so far!

The increased activity of the Sun during the Solar Maximum provides scientists with an opportunity to learn more about phenomena such as solar storms and solar winds and their impact on the space environment. This can help improve technology, such as satellites and telecommunications systems, and help us develop better protection against the effects of solar radiation. In addition, studying the Sun can help us better understand how stars work in the universe.
