Yes‼️ Thank You for this excellent tutorial. I am so excited to make this because they are so helpful. To heat up a bowl of food with this “insulation” makes for a safer way to handle a hot dish. Also a cold dish of ice cream will now be tolerable to hold. Your systematic and calm delivery is so greatly appreciated too❣️

The batting has to . be 100% batting , not 100% with scrim as that is not safe in microwave. l use the zap and go , it is dearer but the safest to use in the microwave. Everything being all cotton , cotton thread , cotton material and cotton batting. So be aware of the batting that says 100% and check if it has scrim in it.

I love your tutorials and have made a few of these cozys using wrap n zap because it's the only microwave safe batting I know of but when I wash my cozy it seems to be a bit bulky and I need to reshape it a bit, just wondered if that's normal for everyone or should I use a different thinner batting?

Hi Anahit. My favorite fabrics to use for baby quilts is "panel" fabrics. They are a large piece of fabric with a theme on them. They can have animals, cartoon characters, trains, etc. I usually put a small order around the edges to make the quilt a little larger. Look in the children's fabric section or go on the internet and check out some of the internet fabric stores. Just enter "panel fabrics" in the search block. Happy sewing.
