It also says that families who work together promote and strengthen their family's bond. Of course, working together, you're most likely to eat together. Both sayings are speaking the truth.

Oh my goodness just how cute and adorable are the boys for wanting to help you so much Cammy. Bonnie is such a good girl for Lizzie. On the subject of your beautiful wife...shout out to what an incredible woman and mum you are Lizzie. 3 under 3 and you get stuck in. Very empowering to see. Can't wait for the days when Jock and then Angus can do even more to help. Awesome way of encouraging their enthusiasm but being clear on not being able to do this job yet. If you can’t see your hitch,use a guide stick. It has magnet on the bottom of an upright 1meter stick that you can see while backing. Place on your vehicle or on the hitch. Back-up until the stick tips over which means that you are exactly aligned on the ball. Amazon surely has them.

I have to have a giggle when you drop all the expensive medication 😂 your face says it all a true scots man😂 and Lizzy shaking her head, you're like a bull in a china shop 😂. The boys are wonderful they will soon be helping more and more they are growing so fast. I still can't believe the patients Lizzy has dealing with 2 young boys and you! 😂. She must have the patience of a saint! You best get that number plate fixed back on cos you're going to lose it somewhere. Very interesting about the different vitamins for the sheep in the bolus. Thank you for sharing and looking forward to the next 😊💜
@jimmyjohnstone58782 ай бұрын
The number plate was a 'bash' but at least it's an easy fix. Hopefully now that you have had the hernia op you will resist the temptation to lift and pull heavy stuff. The repair can be ripped apart if you don't take care. The small bollus size must make it a smoother swallow for the sheep. You need a work table of some sort for when you are dosing and injecting as you are very clumsy. Less stuff would be dropped and broken if you laid it out in a safe place...then do the camera stuff once everything is safely in place. Too sensible probably.

store a tall electric fence poll on top of the feeder and use it as a guide to how far you have to reverse when needing to move it. (that's what I always used to do when connecting the horse trailer as no reverse camera and too many times damaging the bumper)

Maybe a bit of rubber matting installed on the working side of the Te Pari, so glass bottles survive a drop. I think a shetland on hoggets is an excellent idea. Smaller birth weight, vigorous lambs really decreases the stress on you, as no pulling of lambs and on the ewes as they require no handling during lambing time.

Do you have any issues with giving copper without blood testing... and do you feel blood testing for copper if effective, mixed reviews on this.
@TheSheepGame2 ай бұрын
It’s a good question and I would say u should always blood test. My issue is most of my sheep go to grazing that they are only on for winter so to get a proper blood test i would have to send them there for 4-6 weeks and then blood test. Then it would likely come back that they need cobalt and by that time it would be a nightmare to run round them all and bolus. That’s why we just do them all at home before they go. 👍

@heatherd2122 ай бұрын
🇨🇦 I was always under the impression that copper is deadly for sheep. After I saw that your boluses contain copper I did a google to see what it says. Here is what one site said .”Over time excess of copper can destroy liver tissue resulting in the death of the animal. “ I’m sure you’ve done your research but I’m also a bit confused. Many other sites also say sheep are the most susceptible to copper toxicosis. Heather

Vitamins break down quickly. That's why you can't get a multivitamin that lasts 6 months and why human multivitamins have to be taken every day. You can't front-load them because they'll still be gone by the next day.

If you really want to please your Welsh fans you should pronounce araf as arav. A single F is pronounced as V in Welsh. A double FF is pronounced as F. F and FF are actually two separate letters in the Welsh alphabet. 🙂

Why don't all sheep farmers run zero maintenance sheep like Greg Judy?

Bc there is no "zero maintenence" Just likes there is no free lunch.
@chrish16572 ай бұрын
@@gerrylarson3675 obviously not literally 'zero' maintenance. But no shearing, self lambing, all year pastured, parasite resistant, no worming... Seems like a no-brainier.
@gerrylarson36752 ай бұрын
@@chrish1657 none of those characteristics are as black and white as they sound. Management targets, maybe. If it all worked as good as what Greg Judy says, he would be running to the bank cashing checks, instead of working the lecture circuit. We're all tryin'.
@chrish16572 ай бұрын
@@gerrylarson3675 well unless he's a straight up liar (no reason to suggest so), Judy is doing very well off his system, has no debt, is expanding, pays cash for new land, and does the lectures to promote regenerative agriculture. Anyway, I'm not even a farmer, just curious why easy care type breeds aren't commonplace in the UK. Thanks for the feedback all the same 👍
