Excellent video. F.Y.I Battlecruiser G.Averoff still exists and is a museum ship. You can visit it in Faliron, Pireus port.

Indeed she is, and when i am able to go to Greece, she is on the top of my list of things to see. I would however class Averof as a Armored cruiser

Yes, Averoff is Armored Cruiser. The last remaining ship of her type.

It would be cool However, idk what the refit would look like. There is a version that has a German superstructure, but that’s a strange design. Maybe at some point I could do it, but I wouldn’t hold you hopes on it.

A lesson for Greece, they can never rely on Western nations to supply critical weapons-not then and not now. It's good that Greece acquired the ARMORED CRUISER HNS Averoff from Italy to help offset the Ottoman Navy. She provided all the offset needed!

It would have been interesting if the Germans had gotten an exception that would have been alloyed them to finish this ship after the war or if Greece could have replaced it with an existing Imperial German or Austria Hungarian ship of equivalentish capabilities.
