COLLECTING MY CLIO V6! Next Stop: PPF at Topaz | RESTORATION Part 5

Before anything else happens with ‪@Shmee150‬'s freshly painted Clio V6, it's time to transport it to Topaz Detailing for 'high impact area' PPF!
First up, Tim has a look at our new workshop before jumping into the Mercedes E500 Estate to head straight over to GT Towing to hire a trailer once again. Another super easy collection from the team, you can check out their services here: gttowing.co.uk
Once hooked up, we're heading to Godleman's to check out and load up the newly painted Acid Yellow Clio which is looking INSANE!
From there it's a short drive to Topaz to drop the car off for much needed paint protection film, we want to ensure that the paint is kept in as close to pristine condition as possible. Once back at The Shmuseum after returning the trailer, we have a few things to show off including some lovely KW V3 coilovers for the V6, and a 1/18 model of it to join the collection of model cars.

I fitted the same KW Variant 3 kit to my Clio V6 back in the day... and they really did transform the handling, like night and day. You will be amazed at how well suited they are to the Clio V6. Good choice... highly recommended. 👍

13:35 A bit of advice. Don't stand near cables like that when they're under tension. Even though the engineless Clio isn't that heavy, if anything failed, towing eye, winch, etc, that cable will whip around and could cause serious injuries if not be fatal. Keep to the side by half the length of the cable or so, or preferably behind something solid like the tow vehicle, but obviously not the vehicle attached to the cable as if it snaps on the ramp it's going to run over anyone behind it.

Long time subscriber here, we run a track day car as a collective. All of us also have collections of cars of varying sizes. We like you went through the renting a trailer phase for a year or so. We quickly realised it made sense to just buy one. Gave us so much more flexabilty and cost savings long term. Got to be a brand deal for you surely? Maybe even an enclosed transporter trailer?

In Canada we use both chain and brake cable for trailers with brakes, that is the law to use both for trailers with brakes and trailers without brakes only use chains

The problem with your museum Tim is when the car stackers are full you can't see all the posters you have hanging along the wall on that side! You should have a race track running from entrance in then down the middle of the garage and cut a hole in wall to other side and put pit stop above the entrance to other side! I think i'm actually starting to come around to this colour, i've thought it looked horrible previously but i kind of like it now it's got all the additional parts added back on. I do think it would look so much nicer if all the emblems/badges were blacked out though but that's just my personal preference and my hatred for "chrome" on anything other than old classics

I have had grey or silver cars for the last few. Silver seems to hide dirt better than most colors. I just sold my 4506 mile 2019 991.2 Carrera to the dealer for what I paid for it in 2019. I just bought my 15000 mile BMW 330 xDrive at end of lease for more than $10k below market value. I've had bright color cars but prefer to blend in to traffic.

I got a question: you talked about how this or any vibrant color makes the widebody effect pop. Why didn't you paint the SLS Black Series in a vibrant color? I know it's a pretty nice colour, but should go for a Williams FW14B wrap, Camel, Labatt's, Canon & ELF imo with a red 5 number on it.
