Not sure I agree with your assessment on it’s value. I would agree it’s not as refined as the diawa exist but considering the materials they used it’s a pretty expensive reel to make. The drag is very consistent the handle arm being tight to the body is a nice ergonomic touch and made of carbon fiber that handle alone is $100. The jdm diawa presso upgraded handle which is basically the same handle that comes on the mgx is $150 by itself. I think with the extra spool and the case it’s priced right at $400. Personally I think the revo rocket is hands down the best $200 reel especially for fineness applications.

Abu Garcia ha investito molto su questo mulinello dalla particolre personalità progettuale e filosofia dello spinning. Possiedo dei vecchi Cardinal 5 di 40 anni fa e ho voluto portare a casa anche questo abu garcia mgxtreme modello 30. Ho vari mulinelli daiwa e shimano e sono contento anche di abu garcia.

Abu Garcia use to have some pretty nice reels. But now, most of the reels really suck now. When you reel em, it's not smooth. Is your looking to get this, then you perhaps get a shimano stradic ci4 then.

Kennie Yang Outdoors stradic is better. I got all the stradic except the fj. Check out the Unboxing of the FL

Agree it's not worth $400....then again no reel is worth it's actual retail price. You can't tell me an Exist LT is worth $800 or a Stella $700....not even close. It's all personal preference and what you think it's worth. I actually really dig this reel by Abu. Fish on brother!

its a god reel but its not 400 dollars its 170 dollars on tackle direct so you kinda got played.

Looks nice but its not a best buy and ABU goes downhill even the new baitcast reels with there new Revo cent break ivbd whatever system it sucks bigtime, got now Shimano Curado K Perfect cent system no issues whatever. The old ones where working perfect still got the cheap Silvermax it doing great after 5 years and with every kind of lures. Cheap materiaal bad concept and making 👎 it. The great the Abu Garcia from a 9 to 5 an my scorecard Pitty it 🐴🐴🐴
