This is why I watch your videos. I may have no interest in creating a lantern but the 180 deg twist in the beginning will help with making handle wraps on swords. Thanks!

Nicely done . . . thanks for your succinct tutorial delivering lots of essential info . . . if time permits you might consider saying a little about turning a model into an animated presentation by adjusting the time it takes to transition between scenes . . . an application that is implicit in your tutorial but not spelled out.

I think I talked a bit about that in this video - kzbin.info/www/bejne/e2fYdqSBpa2lnqc - should be about 4 minutes in. Thanks!

I downloaded and installed this extension and then restarted sketchup but the only place I find it is in the extension manager. I've looked everywhere. Does anyone have any insight on what could possibly be the issue?

Another great tutorial. It would be great if you could share your sketchup model via link to warehouse for some of the more complex models. ie follow-me tool.

how come when i drape an outline on a rounded surface and try to joint push-pull it the end result is missing faces?
@Thesketchupessentials7 жыл бұрын
I'm not 100% sure, to be honest. Seems like sometimes joint-push pull leaves out faces for some reason, and I'm not sure why.
@ModularIsl7 жыл бұрын
i solved it, the lines have to be completely connected in the outline after draping.
